Welcome to Celebrate Palmer. I'm Steve Carrington, Palmer Mayor. We're here to celebrate Palmer and what everyone in our community has been doing and enjoy some free hot dogs cooked by some of our council members. I believe they've been trained in this.
We want to celebrate what people are doing and give out some awards and recognize some of the people you'll know and some of the people will be kind of unsung heroes and we want to celebrate everyone in the city of Palmer.
Bill Pagaran:
Hey, my name is Bill Pagaran.
I am the president of Carry the Cure and I'm a Palmer resident and I'm Amanda Pagerin and I'm his wife. So we're here at this amazing event here in Palmer at the Train Depot called Celebrate Palmer and pretty amazing event to celebrate just different people in Palmer that really make it great. There are so many great people doing amazing things and it's a joy really just to be in a community that like our mayor Steve Carrington recognizes those strengths and the abilities and great things and success that people within our community do and just celebrate them publicly thankful for just the way this city and Mayor Carrington just really was able to do that in a diverse group you know just recognize businesses individuals and families so yeah I love Palmer is great.
