I got 7 kills and 6k damage today with hawks and I wasn’t even trying. I wasn’t even playing with my teammates, just flying around and 3rd partying every body.
Hawks is super cool and I love his mobility, thats the whole point about him. However, if he can move so much, his damage should be way lower. Nerf the Alpha and Beta damage and he should be golden.
I main tech shoto at this point cause his alpha freezes and maxed out gamma can take hawks out of the sky when he’s five attacking you. The alpha freezes also helps against strike Dobi and his dash attack.
80% of the reason i died in battle is mostly hawks always at the sky seeing everything and just doing 3rd party. That thing never touches the ground and 99% of the time theres gonna be hawks in the last 2 teams
First week or so of his release, I didn't mind him so much. But now, I'm just near sick of him. I have no problem with the people who choose to play him - you've rolled the character or perhaps you've had to pay to get the character in what is an absolutely atrocious, unfair gacha system - by all means, play the character. My problem is with the devs and the sheer lack of foresight on their part - like how is half the character cast in this game supposed to deal with this character? Free pressure with the alpha, easy & explosive burst damage with the beta, wall hacks with the beta, mobility that basically invalidates most characters. This game has arguably been pay-to-win for quite some time now, but Hawks has consolidated that now.
I cannot stand how good all the rapid cards are right now we need a little variation. Even low level rapid cards like uraraka are crazy. I thought Mirio was broken then they threw in hawks and I’m just fighting a lobby full of hawks and Mario’s final circle
Hot Take: All Rapids should be 225 HP like Lemillion. The fact they have the best survivability in the game along with their burst damage is just ridiculous for how hard they are to kill. That would definitely shift the Meta away from Rapids while making them a bit more risky in group engagements and the endgame. Rapids currently dominate in all Phases, and I feel like that's just overkill.
I think you dont use enough awks gamma cause wite the charge gamma you can get up like at 2:56 instead of waiting for the beta and i think he is really good for sniping if your good
Hawks is an automatic win. They can’t keep getting away with releasing these characters for money 😒 like bro this game will never be truly balanced again cause soon as one OP person is nerfed another is spawned
Pulling hawks is the reason why I hopped into expert rank. By practicing with him and paying attention to opportunities, maybe I’ll hit Ace rank for the first time. I’ve been playing since the beta 😅
Didn't mind him before the Bakugo nerf but now it's seems like every final circle has 3 or 4 hawks and some Togas that changed into Hawks just flying around 😅
I agree with the beta thing, I dodged the beta and still got hit in a game while playing as dabi and in a different game playing as hawks I hit a AFO, Deku and a overhaul that all also looked like they tried to doge and shouldn't have got hit it is just wierd.
If anyone wonders how the Hawks jumpad bug activates it's by passing into the jumpad while in beta movement, I think opening the inventory resets the bug (but I'm not 100% sure I only debugged it once.)
As if he wasn't already broken, there's a glitch in his gamma. If you hold aim while using gamma, it won't consume a bullet almost every time. Hawks players can literally spend whole games in the air raining death from above!
His Alpha should not have tracking. Also reduce the number of feathers thrown. Reduce the damage of his Beta & reduce the damage area of his gamma. Hawks is like 3 levels above other characters.
I just assume at this point if they’re in the gacha they won’t touch them since you have to be lucky enough to get them in the first place, why I main tech shoto now
Honestly, Its just the instant turnaround on the beta basically doing around 300 hp when you hit them then strike in freeflight thats needs to be nerfed
I stopped playing shortly after his release but rapids seem unbalanced in some ways, they deal a lot of burst damage and ground based heroes/villains can’t do much if caught off guard
This character reminds me of red dabi poorly designed and sucks the fun out of every match for how cautious u have to play around them whilst they can essentially pick and choose who dies with minimal effort
I just rolled overhaul today. Yk what? This b can match hawks and I am scared of them even more. I only don't have present mic and mirio (I hate playing mirio so it's fine). I am currently trying to find hawks' natural counter... and from what I've seen AFO is good but not perfect-
Im fine with hawks' alpha and gamma but his beta just becomes free damage and it s annoying to deal with. Maybe if they kept it at a sttaight line or made it like all mights beta, i'd be fine with it.
hawks and the rapid meta made me stop playing for a while, at least until next season lol and i HAVE hawks and SOMEHOW got toga when i didn't even want her lol, but i refuse to be part of the problem it just doesn't feel good to play OP characters, i enjoy playing like tech or strike shoto but they can't compete with this rapid meta

The fact that his beta two taps you after softening you up with alphas is absurd. His alpha waits for 200+ damage to knock you back too 😔 this character needs to be destroyed like AFO coz he does NOT need so much damage if he's this fast. They should trade damage for better cooldowns
I dont like using Hawks Beta to Attack people, It really hurts Hawks Movement to not be able to go Up so I never ise the beta except to chase low kills Its the last thing I max as well
Its funny that hawks gets all this flack when red deku has been a issue for twice as long. As well as twice tracking. Until these other characters get nerfed i don't want to entertain it. These devs been doing this. Why is everyone surprised again?
Hawks needs a nerf takes no skill to play him when I loaded into a match like a private match to train he just felt like I was cheating I can auto hit you and then control where my feathers go

@@liviekumori It shouldn't be, but because of the damage its exacerbated. You can't have big damage AND big mobility. If the damage was nerfed, the flying would be fine.
You aren't dodging bro. Red shigi owns buildings. The AOE and Alpha can lock off portions of a room. You losing to a hawks outdoors I can understand but indoors? That's a skill issue G
