Wow watched this because I own them. Learned stuff I didn't even know,and have had them for 6 months. I do like the proramable leds , always brings a crowd flying the mobilite 6 flying acro at night ❤️❤️

My HD3s crapped out in my final round at Australian nationals, and I chucked my mates goggles in desperation,which were these Sky03O's. They are the cleanest picture I've ever seen bar the DJI, and make the HDO look like a joke.

Been with the Skyzone 03Os for a few months now. Excellent choice I went with. I've tried the FatShark OLEDSs, nothing different, just like the Skyzone as far as image display is concerned. I got the external module, still in the box as I've had no problem with the internal receivers thus far👍 IMHO, both will NOT disappoint👍

I really wish there was a place you could go to try out FPV goggles. They really are unique to each person and you never know until you have them on.

Hey @Andyrc those glass diopter slides that come in the skyzone O3o’s out of the box, are they supposed to be removed or kept in place. It seems you have them in place in the video... switching from Box goggles

Andy the diopters are changeable? i cant get mine out..scared to break something..

Would love to see an updated review with the Rapidfire module attached. I've got my O30 with RF but can't really tell the difference as I usually fly in open spaces.

Thanks for the great review. I wish I could try these before purchasing but that is rarely possible with this hobby. If I'm flying with a Caddx Ratel would I notice a big difference in clarity with these goggles over the Aomway Commander V2s?

Like these a lot except for the navigation of the menu buttons. Should be like the new DJI...super easy and intuitive.

The aomway v1s is currently only 180$! For someone not wanting to spend to much money, would you say that they’re worth it or should I go for something more expensive?

I was looking at the new Fatshark HD02's but after watching a couple of reviews it seems the diopter slots have been removed. I have astigmatism so I guess they are not getting my money. I guess I'll be buying the sky 030's instead.

I am really impressed with the DVR quality of the Sky03O. I always hated the compression artefacts of the Fatshark DVR with the inferior codec and bitrate, especially around the characters of the OSD. The receivers look to be on par with the best non-image-processing receivers like the TrueD. If the Sky03O existed when I bought my HD3 I would certainly have chosen the Skyzones.

Hello there. I need help with my skyzone sky03o . I was flying yesterday and after only one warning beep by the goggles, two minutes later the goggles powered off because of low battery. I have correctly set the battery to 2s, as it is and calibrated the voltage. When i checked the battery it was 6.4 V. Wff??? The goggles don't have a proper low battery alarm? My old Skyzone sky02 used to beep all the time when battery started to have low voltage.

Your comment about fatshark support and your experiences of getting repairs highlights why i chose skyzones, and have flown commanders for last 2 years.. i want goggles that dont need repair or support!! I want good reliable equipment.

Fatshark HD02's aren't even available yet but I wonder if??? I'm waiting for a price break... My Aomways still work flawless and so do my FX Viper goggles.. (with reading glasses that is) That audio clip was a nice addition to comparing these two.

The other thing that's not failed on the HDO's is the on/off switch!

Andy I need a little help please. While back ago you did a review on the Tero 215 Q. I'm very confused about how to change the power on the video transmitter on the quad. I understand that if the power is not set to the lowest wattage output you can smoke it. How can I drop it to the lowest output from the 4 in 1? Desperately waiting for your answer. Please if you can help help me. If you cannot please direct me to someone that can.

@Andy. I see that you use the menace pico patch and the Periscope. The same combo i use on my Goggle. You have a Extension on the Pico i a 45° Adapter. Wich is the better way? A link to this extention was nice... Regards from Germany

To me the Rapidfire/HDO footage looks blurry and with washed out/dull colour compared to the Sky03. Is this because of the rapid fire? I have heard it can wash out colours and provide a dull image.

I really do like these goggles. I recently purchased the HDO's kit with the rapid fire and lumineer antennas for 640$ but sold it after 2 tests because of the newer goggles coming out. Should have kept the rapid fire modular to use with another goggles but they will always be available. Thanks Andy for this review. Totally thinking of getting these

Great video as normal I love my orange skyzone03 oleds, switched from Fatshark HD3 without the USEFUL power switch.haha. Also, no more going crosseyed to check its recording too. One thing that no one has mentioned is can these record through the AV in, using the velcro-ed on module bay in question. As this is crucial for finding a lost model or your reviews and basic goggle dvr for reference etc. Looking forward to hearing if you do end up switching.

Andy keep up the good work mate...to be honest i was pretty sure until now your work (channel) would be "discovered" by most people..cause others who do similar things with the fpv drones and things have bigger audience and that seems weird to me....anyway if you have some time anytime soon ...its time for me to replace googles to something like "for years"....i fly alone always..so i was thinking to go straight to the Dji system without the controller....but when i went to order it cause i have a big discount to a couple online shops...they cant ship it here cause a local "thief" distributor has the rights to sell them here so they cant ship em to this country...i can get them only by him which i know him 10 years i fly 3D helis....its a person who cares only for money and the price he has them now is +300 euros than i could get them from the online shops....other than this the last 3 years i have spent more than 25.000euros to him and he does not do even a 1 euro discount...its one thing i really dislike and the reason i stopped and i avoid anymore to get anything from him....is it worth the Dji...with or without the radio?i dont like the fact that the dji radio has not even a screen cause i m used to Futabas (i have 2 of them ...a 16sz and a older 14sg and i just found out i could get some new recievers small like the xm+ size from a previous video you made if i reemember correct )....anyway..now i wonder to go to the dji or consider maybe fatshark or something like these skyzones...even i was sure for going straight to the digital system now for best display resolution colors etc etc than the analog) i dont have a tone of drones to worry about changing the cameras etc so thats not a prob...i use only 3 drones mostly ..i give away anything more than 3 .....sorry for the long message.(this is new youtube account so you sure dont know that we have talked many times the last 2.5 years ) :)

so not a fan of the power button then? i guess we want different things hence they try to chuck everything at them. rgb fpv goggles! I'd love a power buttom on my aomways. not sure about the backwards, forward after-thought thinking of rapid fire!

there is a HUGE difference in dvr hardware. fatshert STILL uses old tech. and still no power button. even on their "HD" , still no power button.

Would like to Test them before i buy them but there is no one around me who ownes one of those. 🥺

What about the latency of the sky03O?

It looks a bit bigger then fatsharks? Or is it just the form making it look like that

Andy, why do you dislike the power button? So many people have complained about the lack of one on Fat Sharks, it seems people want them; why do you say they're dangerous? I really want to know. Am I damaging my batteries? Thanks as always!

A shame that IPD isn’t 3/4mm more, a have a large IPD and that could have been a dealbreaker for me for switching from HD3 to this ...

skyzone 030 i think are just plain better

Why Sky030 is better then fatshark?

Not impressed with sky-zone there a second best compared to fatshark there build quality is not quite as good there customer service definitely is not as good and in my book anygoggle with built in reciever is obsolete out of the box without a module bay to change they are not worth the money . My first goggles were aomway commanders and i paid the same amount for them as theses are now and not haveing a mod bay sucked i couldnt wait to get rid of them. These skyzone have way to much wedged into the inside of them. And really there screens are not that much better looking than hdo . Good review though andy
