Thank you Ewen, my father served in the RAAF, my mother was from Dundee so I am both a proud Australian and proud of my Scottish heritage. We must never forget those brave few. Kind regards to you and your brother Clare

So happy to see them doing another documentary! Glad to see they both got to fly and their family watch. It was poignant knowing that several from the previous docs had passed away. All respect to them. Also enjoyed the spotlight on all the different people that made everything possible behind the scenes.

I worked in a nursing home one of the ladies there used to fly the Mitchells from Los Angeles to New York, spend the night and then turn around and fly them to England She said it was the most fun she ever had in her life never had been out of the United States, but she used to fly crop dusters when she was a teenager so that’s how she got the job

My father went as a volunteer from Chile and flew Lancaster and ended up in Pathfinder’s got DFC I have his logbook with all his missions I am very proud for his contribution in 156 squadron

amazing documentary... still thinking about those bomber crews and the one thing I would change about this documentary is perhaps focusing a bit more on the mental health challenges those guys experienced beyond the STD's which were also about x 4 the single seat aviators in the Spitfires and Hurricanes... which the RAF researched to find out an explanation for such a big difference even when the single seat fighters were having higher casualty rates a year earlier during the Battle of Britain... and it had to do with agency, not too surprisingly. What an accomplished and artful documentary, though, on a legendary air arms organization, defined by meritocracy and professionalism as much as love of country or anything else.

Saw a tv program about the jets protecting the boarder with russia. What about a rear faceing camera that locks onto objects behind and below the jet. Then displays it in front of the pilot with lines so the pilot can tell where it is realative to his/her jet. Like cars have. What about being abile to lornch or jetison flack behind so as to compromise a trailing jet.

100 years RAF. .....only forgot a few years, like the in between years. they were only the most important years for the RAF, but, NO we go from 1917 to 1940

That?...that's what you got out of it? I think of my mums 3uncles 1 who was killed and the 2others lived with "shell shock" precursor to PTSD till their death in the 70's.
