I'm very happy that you put the Amphibia timeskip and the earth timeskip at different years. Almost everyone I've seen has grouped both timeskips together and I personally thought that the 10 year skip was only for earth and the Amphibia timeskip was probably at least a year since almost no one changed besides a few of the more major characters
Well I feel like it was like two years cause sprig should be 13. Also Polly makes sense as well. She was prolly like a messed up 8 year old and now she's 10. Thats .y guess
I had a breakdown at the series finale because of everything I connected with in this show and coming to terms with its ending was like losing a loved one.... Bittersweet and heartbreaking but a fulfilling experience nonetheless
No because I also had a breakdown because this and the owl house where my only reason to live for that period of time (I’m ok now ❤) but I agree the ending was so bittersweet.
You know, Anne never DID say she was going to take up the position of guardian. She said "it's possible" that one day she may feel worthy of the position. The guardian is going to presumably check again the next time Anne dies, but that doesn't mean Anne will take the position. As the guardian even said, she has a choice.
I argue that Disney deserves no credit for this great show. Matt and his team made it happen, they were just lucky that Disney didn't fully unleash their true colors on them
@@roo1014 Yeah, Matt did recently confirm that after the True Colors debacle, they had to censor their vision quite a bit in S3 (focusing more on humor rather than dramatics, at least at first).
@@cojaturobie2414 To be fair, the Disney execs being the stubborn pricks they are interfered with the initial plan for the third season which was darker and more linear
19:19 Now, they're officially called "Wit, Heart, and Strength" BUT "Tri-Force of Wisdom, Courage, and Power" sounds a lot cooler! Anyway, glad we have a more-or-less complete Timeline of when everything takes place. We still don't have specific dates(outside of the Christmas episode) like Anne's birthday and exactly how long the Plantars stayed on Earth but at least have the layout.
29:50 i like how you added the fact that we know the year she will die, as before the guardian sends her back to the world of the iving, she says " i've waited thousands of years to retire, whats 78 years more" indicating that anne will dies in 78 years, which is 2098
Let's go!!! Loved this show. PS: About the whole "Anne backup" stuff, I don't think she is a clone. Rather the guardian created a copy of Anne's body and put her soul in it. Anyone else thinks that? At least, that's what I want to believe.
The way I've worked out the show's timeline, is the show starts in June 2019 and ends (prior to the time skip) in February 2020. Anne, Sasha and Marcy traveled to Amphibia near the end of the school year in June, on Anne's birthday, Anne returned five months later in November, was home for Christmas, went back to Amphibia in January, and the invasion was a few weeks later in February. This has led to my fan theory: in the time skip, the news anchor says today marks the 10-year anniversary of Frog-vasion. It's also the day that the original Anne died and the copy/backup Anne was born, which would make it her birthday. So the reason Sasha and Marcy are celebrating Anne's birthday on the invasion anniversary is because they're celebrating her new birthday. It'd be a day only the three of them celebrate, while Anne would still celebrate her June birthday with her family. I'm sure Sasha, as well as Marcy, have made it to Anne's June birthday as well, but this day has become very special to them. Now Matt did say that in the 10-year time skip, Sasha and Marcy are celebrating Anne's birthday around but not on the actual June date. That to me though doesn't make sense, because what it says is Anne was on Earth from November until May, which sounds way too long. The portal was virtually ready to go, and I figure it took about a month to move it and set it up. Plus Anne, while happy to be home, was anxious to get back to save Sasha and Marcy and stop Andrias. She wouldn't have wanted to wait so long. Plus the invasion, which as we saw at the end of Froggy Little Christmas appeared ready, very likely wouldn't have waited six more months.
I think there will be a spinoff in the future with sprivy and polly exploring the new continent. Hopefully it shows some of the calamity trio living their adult lives too.
@@sock5188well that didn't happen. But they did make a marcy's journal which explored a bit more on the girls personal lives after amphibia and also gave us a lot more lore info about the stones and how it got in the newts hands.
@@iforgor6673 Why do you hate it? Personally I have fairly high standards and this show is far from perfect but I enjoyed it so much I don’t care too much.
This is very solid timeline video for Amphibia. I'm very happy I got to watch & experience a show that would later change my life. All the praise goes to Matthew Braly & his team for this masterpiece. EDIT: Oh My Frog, the moment we got all the way to *2099* hit home hard!😢😭
Maybe her great grandchild will discover a new world and have their own adventure. And after Anne, her child may be next to become the protector of the multiverse.
Fun fact: even thought they clearly said it was the end of its not actually done there are going to make some new episodes where adult anne and sprig meet again
Anyone remember seeing Bill Cypher in the one grimoire? He is also in Rick and Morty and that one show with the aliens that sound like Rick? They're all connected which symbolizes the friendship of the creators.
hey! have you ever thought about making a timeline about scooby doo mistery inc? It’s a really good series packed with mystery and action and don’t even make me start with the plot… oh my god it’s good. just saying it would be really cool if you made a video about this show, since it’s criminally underrated
I had finished the show a while ago, exactly when the last episode was released. I definitely forgot a lot of things, but thanks to this video, I remembered so many things that happened in the show. Your timeline videos are really great.
i was really sad when the show ended at the same time happy because the ending was so perfect and i wonder if the will make a new version amphibia but its a diff time line it would be cool to see that
I honestly think the show should have opted for a happier ending. The entire point of Bittersweet endings is for them to make more sense than happy ones, and this ending makes less sense than a happy one: we know for a fact that it's possible to travel between worlds without using the music box. They did it in the series. Also, why didn't an get any credit for repelling The Invasion? She should have gained Fame and Fortune for it. That would have added additional sweet to balance out the bitter.
Well first they could only travel with Anne’s powers helping them and second, only people that were there knew if it was a fake or not and some of them might not have believed it
did you know at 24:31 when Dr. frakes was trying out her portal machine you can see that there is a split second where you can see the world of the owl house.
The Calamity Trio recharging all the gemstones really remind me of a certain game… I think it’s called *_Sanic Unleashed_* …. hm. Anyway, Amphibia is probably my favourite show now. Don’t judge me. The reason is that it reminds me that I have no true friends.
anne boonchuy came a long way from stranger to an alien from planet to a weld hero of god power and finally becoming the ceslial guardian of the multiverse am gonna missed anne
