Honestly, the worst part for Type Soul, is that to get Bankai/Res/Volt, you need elite player grips and raid wins, and since the game is dead, anyone who wants to revisit it is completely locked out of those things. It can't even be a good nostalgia trip since there's nobody to use OP abilities on, and there's no way to grind back those OP abilities anymore due to the lack of players.

Type soul is a prime example of it doesn't matter how good you make your combat, if the devs are pieces of shit, the mods are pieces of shit and the game is P2W it will die like a stepped on rat once actual competition comes out.
Something very important you forgot to mention about type soul downfall is Peroxide. this game affected a lot to type soul like a lot type soul lost like 40% of players when this game released also the biggest youtuber that type soul had ¨Dizzle¨ which had like 18k views+ per video. after his ban he took his whole community to peroxide affecting a lot the game as well
Another major problem the game had was the existence of bankai stealing for Quincy mains. Like yeah, it was canon. But it locks you out of your bankai for 24 hours. It also didn’t help that the game was PC exclusive. Most of the player base WOULD’VE come from mobile players. But they made 0 effort to expand their game. And finally, the former cc players still had their titles and their specs. They would consistently harass the players who are just trying to enjoy the game casually. Not to mention, the grind for Vasto Lorde and Vizard were incredibly stressful and time consuming.

I loaded into the game back in summer, played for like an hour, didn’t know what to do and how to do things, found out pvp was basically required (it’s just not my thing) so I dipped. Looks like I dodged a bullet lol
U didn't dodge anything? Game was still good even without buying stuff, I legit was on par with ngas with volts and banaki and all that good stuff while being a f2p player and just elite grade. The pvp was mad fun, what u really dodged was a good time

I dislike pvp games on Roblox anyways due to the shitty and laggy servers and poor performance. + how unbalanced most of these games are I just don’t care for it
@@blizyon30fps86some pvp focused games are actually cool like battleground types (dont focus on the copy and paste) like aba or anime showdown, some are just absolute fucking brainrot to play because of progress like fruit battlegrounds (personal opinion on this) or type soul which is an actual perfect example.
This game was so damn fun to play and climb the levels with friends as soul reapers, then the game was killed before we could reach Bankai after we had been playing for months since summer😭🔥(progression was horrible)
Another thing with bankais especially blood is that later in the game life they were easily countered just by people, knowing what to do when it got popped for blood, you just had to Parry
you know in my personal opinion type soul was a genuinely terrible game just because half the time you would either be randomly attacked or your block just wouldn't work progression was terrible and i mean sure it was a game not meant for everyone cuz not everyone can be good at the game but even with that i feel like the game was specifically targeted at people who could do what others couldn't
When I played it with my friend I couldn't progress at all because he had bad shinkai and we had to wait for codes to come out (he later rolled fire and we could actually play)
Having a progression so incredibly horrible that half of the playerbase leaves the moment they find a game where they dont have to deal with it is wild, type soul was always a bad game with a decent fighting system
Ive never played typesoul before until now (i play peroxide) and i gotta say, hollow progression was fun for a solid 15 minutes. Than I attempted to progress to vasto lorde but high lvl players kept killing me.
U had to be top 100 while also being Quincy and elite grade with volt and all that good stuff. Finding someone with the medilaion was mad rare. What r u complaining abt
icl the fact that the type soul com bat was based off deepwoken says alot about what deepwoken could be and is. more devs should use this form of parry trade fighting in there games.
My type soul summer phase was crazy. 7 accounts I leveled up. 4 soul reapers, 2 quinces, 1 arrancar. That alone took me an allotted time of 2 weeks, not to mention getting BANKAI/VOLT/RES on every account. From June to Late August, this game was my life during the nighttime when I wasn’t busy… Over 600 hours in 2 months that’s actually crazy. Oh, not to mention my other 7 sr accounts i leveled to grade 2 cause I wanted to try every Shaka and every build. I went on vacation and all I thought about was going home and playing type soul to check out flower.. That’s actually horrible. This is all time I will never get back my friends, trust my word and never follow suit. I WASNT EVEN CC OR GOOD AT THE GAME LOL
i did all the grinding before they made it easier just to get stuck at volt final stage because every server was so bad and you need around 70 ping to do it( from my experience). Any ping above 100 made it unbeatable unless of course you are just built different and can react to instant beams of light.
I was absolutely fucking addicted to that shit had like 7 accounts with end game builds double legs for srs wep and shikai plus bankais man absolutely loved this game never had an experience like this and one of the most fun things i did on roblox man i quit when i reached below like 300 man and it died sad but atleast it happened it was truly an experience that I'll remember
I still love the game like it would be fun if it just had content and had a good community cuz it's community would only talk about the bad stuff not the good stuff which the good stuff was super good like the combat and the RU-vidrs also killed it cux after type soul had a small fall in players all the RU-vidrs starter saying its dead and the RU-vidrs started hateing on the game cuz they sucked at and then since they started hating the playerbase hoped on the wagon and started hating for no reason
the game cannot have a good community, that's just not possible for that type of game, and also the combat is the only good thing of the game, and it just feels like worse rogue lineage combat

a big problem with type soul was the god awful balancing, quincies were a mess, speed was completely broken and unfun to fight, soul reapers having the extra mode move and those moves being way better than the other two, skillboxes as a whole, vasto being almost completely useless and more
didnt help that khaotic ghsted us for ages, dave got exposed for dating a 15 y/o they blamed us for their delays, they never once used the announcement channel to tell us about delays etc they refuse to continue updating the game because the devs cant handle the backlash they get from, the community when they announce they will do weekly updates then they dont meet that promise and they dont even announce the delays or apologise (the last part was said by khaotic himself in the general chat if you want to check)
Game was a great time during the summer, the reason it fell off though is because of a lack of updates over time and poor management on things like the game's rights and ownership on the devs side. Game's still great but it's just that we've done all there is to do
The reason why Type//Soul died is simple while the PvP in the early games was fun and engaging, the devs and the community were toxic later updates made the game p2w and still people played it. Until there was competition Peroxide, even if anyone does not like peroxide game design it is unquestionable the community is better and the devs are better as well. Simple as that type/soul dies, new player go to peroxide since it has a higher player count and it is done. The developers of Type/Soul sabotaged their own game, truly sad but it happens more often in roblox these types of things so yeah. Peroxide also has female avatars wich attracts simps, just saying the facts.
ik this is proly jus a skill issue, but type soul rn, in my time of playing iv been, constantly rked, lost, rked again, and when i actually get a quest even while i do it i get rked and end up in a new spawn and getting lost again, than rked. again. and its on a constant cycle, iv been playing for the most part of 5 or 6 hours and have gotten absalutly nowhere. i got to grade 5, after 6 hours of getting rked and barely any quest. if it stayes like this i might as well drop the game cuz whats the point in wasting several hours just to make no progress and get rked
type soul hueco mundo discord was wild there was death threats and n word spammings and telling people to kys and they aint getting banned but they was lowkey good to be with
i really liked type soul i was grinding for hours like daily 8 hours grind it was so fun but the mods ban me for join bm server at that time i didnt knew it was banable all my friends who got banned from bm server got unbanned but me no i dont know why i spammed tickets like crazy but they just denie it then i just accepted that i will never play the game again that game was my life.
9:31 Let's not act like type soul wasn't a grindy cash-grab that was designed specifically to exploit children through child gambling from its public release. Also one of the most important things that came out of the code being leaked was the mods trying to ban anyone who played games with stolen code.
i think you forgot about another big thing that killed the game, the release of peroxide. alot of people who didn't want to spend money on the game and grind for hours just went to play peroxide
Out of all games i was disappointed at type soul i enjoy my time but after the devs and broken stuff i lost hope and stop playing were i didn't want to be with a game were they didn't give a crap about you and i found more enjoyment with different game like prixoid and strongest battle ground
glad I didnt waste my time playing type//shit. good pvp, ranking up = mindlessly doing raids over and over, bankai also mindlessly doing raids over and over hollow grind = mindlessly killing npcs over and over. knew the game was gonna die so i just stopped playing it after a bit😂

@@lolnah1992 as soon as i saw that you needed to do hundreds of raids for bankai i didnt bother getting it the pvp is fun and all but my main problem was that after getting a few ranks up the end game was literally just do raids over and over again. they had the pvp but not the content🤷♀
nah the game sucked, and i dont mean the pvp aspect, thats what everyone came for and im not gonna lie it was pretty mediocre but ig it was an acquired taste, but the game was a grinding hell, the community was toxic and i gave up without even ranking up once cause of how long i had to wait just to rank up, the game should've failed the moment it released but ig it managed to pull through, i dont like how there are basically any good bleach game in roblox..Project Mugetsu sucks cause its also a grinding and gacha hell..Peroxide is in a way a grinding hell too..and gacha hell..you get my point, its all chances and wastes of time.
paradox is coming out soon, its a much better game and it takes type souls pvp and ramps it up way higher and it also has to do with deepwoken parrying
Tbh type soul died when the head dev got banned imo. The lack updates and 0 communication from mods and devs ruined it. The fact that copies of type soul are more enjoyable and popular goes to show what couldve been.

i rmember fighting some mod on the game and they perma wiped my old arrancar full rez haukda vamp character i had to fuking start over as the lost soul and to that fukin hollow prog for vasto honestly i am happy that the game is so down bad rn but its a shame that game with good potential had to suffer from trash devs and mods
