I would also add that you can charge her core when she is in her tornado form after special dodge, letting you do her core attack immediately after the tornado is over.

Haicma is the un/transcendent i've most wanted so far, she's so hot and stylish, plus ice be one of my fav elements, hopefully i get her sig weapon early (since my last weapon pull i have builded pity and sadly losed the 80/20 😭😭), good luck for us Haicma wanters 🙏🙏🙏
Haven’t been this excited for a character since Qu. Now that I know how she plays, I think her play style is very satisfying. I love the idea of a charged guard equipped with an auto avoid that can turn into a massive attack when the button is released. I also love accumulation attacks, how she triggers ult, builds the gauge, then explodes it based on how much of the gauge accumulated. Definitely pulling her, I don’t care if she’s bad or not, she’s a ton of fun and she looks amazing!
Remember that, even if its only 2,5k bc, if you're completly f2p, this is already enough for you to not guarantee the next limited character, Karenina Daybreak. Although she is possibly a skip, since 21 is a good enough tank for the dark team.
4:05 For those who don't know you can start charging her core passive before using her fully charged freeze ult. This makes the 'freeze into core passive attack' much easier to time without her 6* weapon.
I think her ability to auto-dodge with core passive is pretty underrated. Normally, to keep the pressure up you want to spam attack all the time, which may make it hard to trigger matrix because the smaller enemies flinch and cant attack. By entering her "charging" stance, she can bait enemies attack for free matrix, and even if you cant bait a matrix, your dmg loss from "waiting" is much less punishing thanks to her huge AOE dmg from charging core passive (Sig much needed if you wanna bait like this, however).
I'm new,started a month ago,after watching your Vera garnet build guide video i pulled for vera garnet and i gotta say she is REALLY good, her aoe burst damage is insane and she's really helping me out so thanks for that awesome guide
New player here, and solely played pgr coz of those videos I saw about the new Alpha, which will be released next year for global - that aside from pgr already have it standalone pc client. And she's the only one I'll be saving for - supposedly - until I saw Haicma, and knew that she's coming next after Nanamech. So as for me liking scythe users in general, I'm not gonna skip her, I mean it's just 10 pulls, so. But the weapon though, I wish I'll win the pity and get it for her - I'll try my luck. If only they made her own un 5* weapom too, I don't like Faded Color's aesthetics 😅
Somewhat major correction: Maybe someone's already mentioned this before, but I wanna point out that you can actually release the fully charged freeze while you're charging her core passive without interrupting the charge, and let go of it while the enemy is actually frozen. What this means is that her "signature weapon reliance", as said in the video, doesn't really apply. You can comfortably charge the core passive before popping freeze and let go of it as soon as you do pop it, eliminating the tight timing element on hitting with the jump slash before the frost gauge actually runs out. The signature weapon is obviously an increase in both DPS and quality of life, as she remains stationary for less time due to the charge time of the jump slash being shorter, and it also increases its base damage, but it definitely does not prevent her from fitting in the jump slash within the freeze window. So using a 5 star weapon on her is fine, if you adjust your playstyle a bit and precharge the slash before popping the freeze, then letting go of it.
I have some sense she's gonna be a playable character after her journey with Nanami and plus I was wondering who is she in the revelation Ost. Now its her, can't wait for her to come out on global client.
If I had a nickel for every fictional scythe-wielding ice lady I fell in love with, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
For me it's scythe and katana users (generally ice and electric btw), Haicma, Rita fallen rosemary, all lucia frames (specially Plume and Alpha motivation), Balter, Ayaka and Keqing
Haicma's an alright character. The main draw for her is that her animations are cool and that she's hot robot girl with robo personality which makes a lot of her affection interactions really cute and funny because she doesn't have any idea what she's doing since she's literally just a sentient robot with no social skills at all. She's an alright CC character but if you already have the Ice team (Wanshi/Plume/Glory) or a team of other built Uns like Tempest/Camu/Roland/Pulao, then you don't need her as a character. For Reference, the next construct after Haicma is Karenina Radiant (Name subject to change), the new Dark Tank who IS a semi-High Investment character if you want her to be better than Kamui Tenebrion. If you are a long term planner, we are also drawing closer to Abysstigma (4patches) and Hyperreal (6).
The spending event for Kamui's skin got my BC reserve low. But after seeing her part in Nanami's event and her gameplay, I'll contemplate if it's worth getting at least a single copy of her then SS her later with the guild points
when charging up her gauge after her 2nd ult, you can walk when holding the dodge button. It would've looked better in the video rather than just standing in place fyi :p
I will pull for all the Alphas in PGR no matter what! Even if she is not an omn, even if she's different than the OG Alpha. Also, "Target, Locku Onn" is the line that made me go nuts every time she does the defensive stance. And Scythe users are badass so I will pull for HAICMA!

I don't have the cards to get her and her weapon so Imma go back to saving. Next unit I pull for will probably be Abysstigma since my phys "team" right now is Pulao (my account is about 6 months old). I wonder if they'll give us another 100% Wishing Target banner at some point. I could really use another one of those to get Garnet.
I came here hoping that I didn't have to pull her sig weapon to make her usable but got otherwise.... Now I'm torn between pulling her sig weapon or not.
@@Spider2B I've rolled at it, reached pity and SOMEHOW lost the 80% chance. It has happened more often than I want that I suspect that 80% chance..... Aaaaand now I'm at 29th pull and couldn't decide to pull the last one or not....
regarding weapon resonances, wouldn't nsec transmission(+400 max dodge) resonance allow you to use her lunge attack more often and possibly deal more damage than limit break or matrix burst?
@@Spider2B then i must be underestimating her normal attacks and orbs i started playing prg recently and got her and galatea pretty luckily(4 pulls) for the current operation un in which getting as many lunges and tornadoes was more or less the sureway to beat them, and 3pings only to fill ultimate energy

You mention that she has a mass freeze making some stages easier, is that the only thing she really brings to a un team? Like there's not gonna be a point where Haicma gets some kind of buff that makes her really beneficial right? I think I'm gonna be skipping since she doesn't add much for me having gotten all other uns up until now. Also with Dark Karenina coming, I place her way above Haicma, despite being so cool.
I think she might be my first skip, i have 18k black cards so have more than enough but theres alot of characters and weapons(balter+weapon, lee+weapon, etc) i really dont wanna miss what with the new thing that got added where 6* weapons get even stronger by adding memories and considering shes expensive i think its better if i skip her, you never know though, i might get lucky during my future pulls and be able to get her later with the black cards i saved.
Is Haicma ok at very least with SS and 5* weapon in ur opinion? I just don’t pull (for now) signatures to any constructs, so here’s my question. Gonna pull her once, give her 5* weapon and SS from the guild shop, and no more.
Hacima has always been a strange construct to me, because I like never hear people talk about her, even in regards to uns. Either way, shes a skip for me after going for SSS nanamech and being absolutely drained from that. However good luck to those going for her and her weapon.
