Long videos incoming but you guys asked and we will get into it. I had some issues while recording the video so there might be some latency with my webcam and the last portion I just took myself out. All the best and enjoy!
Stoked you are diving into Diva. You taught me so much about serum that I was finally able to understand how to make my own patches and completely broke out of using presets. Really excited to dive into this....thanks!
The 5 is confusing on the osc- as it is 5 semi tones rather than a '5th'- the 7 is the number if you are adding the 5th as in 7 semi tones, so the 5 is actually adding a major 3rd!. :) Thanks for this great video man! :)
Depends on the MUSIC! For techno and more club yes but for EDM EDM I think sylenth1 has the sound for it. Can still do DIVA just a bit harder to get those leads
The oscillator sync be viewn differently than the hardsync. It is there for creating more or less metallic sounds kinda like FM but not as metallic often described as Grinding effect It actually should be used with the master oscillator (osc 1) muted to modulate the slave oscillator (osc 2 or/and 3). You can controll the effect on the slaves tune knob. It only works when not using octaves and fifth. The classic and most common way is to use a squarewave on the slave osc and it doesnt matter which waveform the master osc is set to. (for legit reasons: its teached like this on Syntorial)
