The Complete Herbert Berger (1922-1925): Recorded in New York and St. Louis (feat. Pee Wee Russell) 

I remember reading about him back when researching into Sunshine Records, through The Talking Machine World. Those ballroom recordings were done live with a live audience sitting their quietly, witnessing a once in a lifetime display of a band cutting records. Really unique sounding band. And also this has to be your most aesthetically pleasing background I've seen on any of your videos.

Another great compilation, Colin! The vocalist on Good-Night is uncredited on the Victor label, but according to the DAHR it's Paul Small.

Many thanks for this fascinating set. Berger is one of those figures I've read about but not heard. So much great music from this era...
