Hello everyone! This one is for the library visitors who have pledged allegiance to the Horde! In this tale we try and cover as much of the Mulgore and Tauren lore as possible. We dive into the origins of the Tauren, how the Horde secured Mulgore and even the bombing of Camp Taurajo...however you say that forsaken place. In addition, as @epiqschwer1578 correctly pointed out, Mulgore does NOT share a border with Dustwallow Marsh. I was trying to convey the geography of Central Kalimdor but got some of it mixed up! Sorry! 🏴‍☠️ It’s been a very…very long weekend in the library 📚

Whenever my 6-year old son has trouble going to bed, I put one of these on and he passes out within 10 minutes. Not sure if that’s a compliment or an insult lol, but he does watch intently when he’s awake

I found this on wowhead. Diving deeper into this, obviously this mockup has been made previously so I cannot take the credit! As I naviagte these sites pretty quickly, I didnt even notice that Jevan's model was not a NPC but a mock up instead. mulgore is and allways will be my favorite starting zone, its just so tranquil, the nature is pristine, you can overlook almost all of the zone from any given place and frankly aside from the quillboar and harpies its easily the zone i would personally prefer to live in, if i had to chose one, all the danger even with the quillboar and harpies is manageable, theres no rotting caracasses walking around, no uber evil magic sorcerer, no mana adicts waiting to drain me, the only zone that rivals mulgore for me is eversong woods which is similiarly beautiful but the land is scared and tortured. id live in mulgore for the view, and in eversong for the "company" i mean, who could compete with bloodelfs in regards to company

Good spot! It’s a bit of a script typo, I didn’t want to over use ‘surround’ so was looking for something different, turns out ‘borders’ isn’t technically correct ❌ Southern Barrens is pretty ‘thin’ anyway 😂

I remember almost 20 years ago asking directions to Camp Tarrajo in Barrens chat. There followed an hour long heated discussion on how to pronounce it. After that, I have always referred to it as "Camp T".

My second character is a blood elf mage named Roseamorte. I have a whole backstory of her life, from her being orphaned in an attack by the centaur at the gates of Mulgore, to her being found and taken to Thunderbluff where she was adopted by a Tauren family with no children. The parents were bakers and Roseamorte learned to cook along with learning elemental magic from the shamen. She was finally sent back to Silvermoon City to learn about her heritage and learn magecraft. So, I have a very soft spot in my heart for the Tauren race and Baine Bloodhoof.

Hey! Thanks for another well put together and entertaining video! Mulgore to me atleast is one of the most beautiful zones in the game and with its rich lore makes it a abolute great zone to play in! There is one tale from this zone i feel has to be mentioned. There is a special quest giver here. his name is Ahab wheathoof and he has a very special story to tell (I will let you figure this out on your own but i assure you its a story well worth checking into). How did the centaur get to the dragon ilse? They where created after the sundering, or that what the Titans want us to belive and i never say them build ships.

The centaur on the Dragon Isles were the first of their kind to roam Azeroth. They were isolated when the Great Sundering occurred. Thousands of years later the Centaur of Kalimdor were born from the relationship between Zaetar and Theradras. Same species but separate evolutionary lines.

I always thought Camp Taurajo pronounced as Taura-ho, due to tauren taking a lot of influence from Native American culture. For example, Navajo ends with a "ho" sound. I'm also within spitting distance from the Mexican border so anything with a J that doesn't look Nordic, Germanic, or Asian I assume it's an H sound.
