A new FIA Group 5 racing category called "special production cars" encourages manufacturers to begin developing a new generation of production-based race cars featuring aerodynamics and power levels never seen before. Porsche's entry for this new category is based on the street legal 930 Turbo and it called the 935.
This Documentary covers the first 2 years of the Porsche 935 and details the 935/76, the 935/77A, the 935/77 Werks, the 935 Baby 2.0 and the Kremer 935 K1.

Well researched, I really enjoyed your presentation on the epic Porsche 935 Racecar variants. My favorite livery has to be the Martini Racing. Or is it the jaegermeister? The 936 was pretty awesome as well. How many cars have won Le Man ('76) and won again, 5 years later ('81)? Thanks for sharing your efforts!

😊❤ love Porsches all of them are growing in my cousins and ever since then I was hooked on them and remember there is no substitute, but Porsche and that is true. I love it when pushes kick Corvettes but

My favorite Porsche of all-time is the RUF 935, and of course the Kremer 935's. (& the late 90's Porsche 911 GT1 Road Car, and the Porsche 914+6) Great video, thank you!!!

Should have told the story of how Kremer got a copy of the works 935 when the Porsche transporter broke down and the Kremer brother's offered to take the car on their transporter. Which then gave them the opportunity to make molds from the works 935, thus allowing them to sell their own version of the 935. Or how the Kremer brother's would shake the cars down by driving them on dealer plates down the Autobahn😎
