Welcome to Part 1 of 4 of my series covering the full history of the Rio Grande Southern Narrow Gauge Railroad. In this video, we cover the railroad's operations from it's conception, to the end of 1899. These were the years that made the RGS, and an insane amount of stuff happened during those years. We also get to see over 400+ pictures of the line, from the late 1800s to present day! This is my best narrated, best edited and overall best made work to date, with over 140+ hours going into it. Thank you for giving it your time, & subscribe for more trains & ghost towns!
The history of the ghost town of Eureka, Colorado, & The Sunnyside Mine & Mill. This was my first documentary, and covers one of the most important towns in the San Juan Mountains, which was once Colorado's biggest producer of gold. It was connected to the world by the Silverton Northern Railroad. It is my all time favorite ghost town.
