I don’t have the study Bible but I do have the Complete Jewish Bible. Get your KJV out along with this one and read Romans. I never “got” the book of Romans until the CJB. When I understood the Jewishness of it....it made perfect sense! When you get The Jewishness of scriptures, your Bible will be a LOT bigger!!!

I have the original 90s non-study version of this and I just bought a used duplicate of it to utilize as my journaling Bible. I’ve never Bible journaled before but I’m about to start.

I have this Study Bible in the hardcover. It is sooo beautiful both inside and out 🤓. There is a wealth of information in this Study Bible and I plan to focus on this one more. I have a lot of Study Bibles that are all fantastic, and this is another one of them. Good Review! 🌄🌴

Really nice edition. I like the cover design too. I would also recommend The Jewish Study Bible edited by Adele Berlin and Marc Zvi Brettler. It is published by Oxford University Press.

5:24 - you CAN take it to church and follow along, you just have to open to the correct book. I put Bible tabs on mine so I keep up with it more easily.

So glad you did a review of this bible Cat. I am thinking of getting it to give as a gift. One of the contributors, Dr. Arnold Fruchtenbaum is one of my favorite bible teachers. His website has some amazing free bible studies too! This year I have read his book Yeshua the Life of Messiah and The footsteps of the Messiah along with my time in the word and wow wee! To know the context in which Jesus is teaching is priceless for understanding scripture. And it also helps dispel a lot of false teaching that is out there as well. Thanks again for this review!

I have looked for a long time for a bible that uses the true Hebrew names of our Creator our Messiah and our helper together. I just placed my order for this. I did manage to find one that is indexed.

I'm adding the new testament mjlt Bible hardcover it can be found on Amazon and Christian books and I'm going to be getting the tree of life Bible next

Hi, I am wondering, is this leather edition sown solidly? I mean, is it still in a good condition after all the time you've used it? I have experience with leather-like Bibles that don't last... I could of course get the hardback but this one is just so beautiful!

Your just flipping through pages and talking. You didn’t discuss the content, you should of went through the pages and discussed The differences from a bible and this🙄

I was never impressed by the Complete Jewish Bible. I like your videos and enthusiasm better than this study bible, in fact. The Jewish Study Bible, Jewish Annotated Apocrypha, and Jewish Annotated New Testament, despite not being produced by Messianic Jews and the New Testament Apocrypha use of the NRSV, gave me a lot more insights into the Judaisms of the Second Temple Period. Jesus Christ in the Gospels, isn't criticizing Judaism. He is criticizing the smooth ways of the Pharisees and the faith of the Sadducees. I am more of a student of the Second Temple Period. I don't think the Complete Jewish Study Bible gives good description of Jewish Christians, the Ebionites and Nazarenes. But, this is my viewpoint, and you can certainly disagree. I quite like your reviews and you quest for knowledge. I wouldn't want to get in the way of your hunger for the things of God. If the Complete Jewish Study Bible helps you, that's A good reason to praise God. 🙂
