The Complete MIG Welding Guide (मिग वेल्डिंग क्या होती है?) 

MIG वेल्डिंग का फुल फॉर्म Metal Inert Gas Welding (मेटल इनर्ट गैस वेल्डिंग) है। इस वेल्डिंग को दूसरे नाम GMAW (गैस मेटल आर्क वेल्डिंग) से भी जाना जाता है। MIG वेल्डिंग में परिरक्षण के लिए अक्रिय (inert) गैस का उपयोग किया जाता है। हीलियम और आर्गन अक्रिय (inert) गैसें हैं और ये गैसें MIG वेल्डिंग में परिरक्षण (protection) का काम करती हैं। यदि अक्रिय (inert) गैस के स्थान पर Co2 गैस का प्रयोग किया जाता है तो इसे MAG ( Metal Active Gas) वेल्डिंग कहते हैं।
