Bro this is an amazing guide regardless of playing Shadower or not, thank you SO much!! I'm actually a returning player myself, been playing on and off my whole life since Ludibrium was added to the game and not once have I ever given Shadower a fair chance. If anything, I see no better time than now to make a fresh Shad on the new Reboot server! :)
Shadower is the next character I’m gonna hyper burn. I’m just gonna prep now til then. As well as passively buffing my other 2 boss mules with slightly better nodes and gear on the way.
@@MapleBinch Tbh I'm not really playing anything. I decided to try the game again (after literally 15 years) and then found out a new server is starting in 5 days. So I'm just waiting trying to decide on what I'm going to make. Shadower will be toward the top of the list tbh, looks fun.
Bro where is the essentials for training guide? also how is your key binding? how do you use the meso explosion constantly effectively? do you have to click 2 buttons constantly? i wanna make a shadower with the new hyper burn tomorrow
At lh6 how does the rest of the rotation look like? do you drop down from left side to repplace summons again or from the right? and which skills do you use during that
This might be a stupid question, but do you have a pic of ur keyboard layout in maplestory? I want to see where u put ur skills because i have almost every button in use and its overwhelming.
You don't need meso explosion to one-shot. There aren't enough mobs in the maps to need Meso explosion to one shot. As long as your Cruel Stab can one shot, you can clear most maps.
Thx, this is a great guide. Im gonna hyperb a shadower after watching the babyshad series. I was looking for a main and boy shadower is fun to play. Small question:I don't have alot of nodes what should i prioritize?
Yay! Glad you liked the series. Good luck on your hyper burn. I’d prioritize whatever you need to mob efficiently: cruel stab, meso explosion, and dark flare… and level up erda fountain. Trickblade and shadow assault should be strong enough at a low level to one shot mobs. Also with how many node slots you have in new age, it’s ok to stack lots of different trinodes instead of fishing for the perfect combos early on.
I got mine from the mobs in front of Ninja Castle, but I also heard that if you do the Toad boss that the mobs in that boss fight drop it as well (along with some other cool OG items). You might want to Google the Toad boss.
would it be worth it to job change my 247 DB to Shad and just use all the nodes from chapter 6 to juice it up? Then I could use the New Age hyper on another boss mule
I’m not a fan of job changing TBH. Personally, here’s what I’d do: Hyper burn a new shadower and keep the DB as a boss mule (since you already invested some time and resources into it). Job changing is a waste of your nodestone resources and you can just put all the chapter rewards into your new shadower. Plus, there’s always going to be another hyper burn in later events if you’re feeling “fomo”
@@MapleBinch Good advice thank you! I will do that, now should I level the 120 shad I made for legion to 200 before new age hyper hits or just make a fresh one since the levels will be so easy? (Im around 4K legion currently)
Just wait, it's going to be easier to mob after New Age with the reduced mob HP, so getting to 200 with barely any gear is going to be hella easy.@@GameConnoisseur69
If you lucky enough, you can make a boss set (assassinate, meso explosion, shadow veil) then a mobbing set (cruel stab, dark flare, sudden raid). If not, its OK as long as you node all 6 of these skills).
1. It’s a damage skin. Unfortunately you have to partake in long term events to usually get these damage skins that they call “unit damage skins” 2. Goals are up in the air right now. I wanted to start fresh in Hyperion and do a RU-vid series for it, but with the drama that’s happening, I’m not sure what I’m going to be doing. I’m going to wait for patch notes and a word from Nexon. Thanks for the love!
Yes, I'd use all the same maps for my NL. Rotations should be the same, but some maps might require you to use Rope Lift since NL doesn't have Shadow Assault.
It's all up to you and what you like more. Shad: Harder bossing but it's more intensive so it keeps you engaged more. NL: Lazier in farming and bossing, so it's better for grinding longer hours. Both classes are top tier.
Not that bad. I recommend checking out Twitch.tv/Dubsly - he's a very strong Shadower who's been playing for a long time on high ping. He plays NA Reboot from Australia, so he can give you some more insights about playing this class on high ping. I live relatively close to the servers, so my ping isn't an issue.
Had a 218 nl ready to burn but decided to change it in a shadower because its my favo char. I already have a 250 shad and now going to burn a new one to 260. Was little in doubt because why would i burn another shadower. But fck it
It's ok. After New Age, mob HP gets reduced in Reboot, so it will be much easier to one-shot! And, if you don't play Reboot, there are other changes being implemented in the game that will make it easier to get more damage. Good luck!
Disagree. I used lots of these maps on a low damage shadower with no link skills on a second account. The main limiting factor for these rotations is just getting your cruel stab to one shot which is a very easy thing to do after new age with all of the power creep and quality of life. Even though I’m 282, I’m showing you what you can do on any shadower. You just have to be open to trying them out on your own.
Can confirm with just the hyper burn rewards and some links you should be EASILY 1 shotting throughout till 250. It’s more just a matter of how much your ME does.
