I was absolutely blown away by TLOU. I didn’t play it straight away and heard that there were a load of people that hated it. Personally, I’m really glad I went into it fresh and avoided all the nonsense. Some people (lots in this game’s case) are simply not smart enough to understand that not liking a game’s story is not the same as the game having a bad story.
that's what I tells to my brother whenever he bs about what he'll gonna do in last of us world and how he'll gonna save himself 😂 and I always gives him a reality check that you and me and all the 90% of earth population will be wipped out within a span of few weeks
"Don’t tell me I would be safer with someone else, because the truth is, I would just be more scared." i’ve heard this quote way too many times and somehow I am just now learning about this game being where it came from.😭😭😭
you gotta love how bold and unapologetic this game is. it's such a breath of fresh air when a brand new IP gets this much recognition and love with truly realistic outcomes
@@adamburke4738 you guys who hate on part 2 have a built in auto response to make sure you let people know they still HAVE to hate part 2. 😂😂😂. Grow up dude. It’s kind of obvious seeing you guys on every TLOU video or article pretending you didn’t love it when you clearly do. That or you love trolling.
@@pessiescobar4707 no. Kudos to the graphics and gameplay but to be a masterpiece you also have to have a great story. Part 2 did not have a great story.
Its really dark and hard to watch/play sometimes but it's fantastic. The story is greatly upped in its subtlety and emotion (though the first certainly doesn't slack in any form) and the gameplay is genuinely incredible. Really recommend it
Thank you for this story line I have never played Last of us until now 2024 lol. I just watched this to get a better understanding on how it all started and now that you told the storyline I now will start playing the game I brought yesterday. Yes I hope we get a happy ending for Ellie's story the girl went through alot to get to where she is now.I wonder if she will ever find Dina and her child again?
Perhaps its supposed to be like that. I think part 2 also shows that people are doing well enough without a cure. Showing that human “civilization” has adapted. It seems like the message of part 2 is about letting go and moving on. But yeah it would be cool if they referenced atleast a little bit about the cure lol
i honestly want a third and last installment to see ellies story to end properly and also abbys story to end too, would love to see it. if first game was about love and connection and second game was about revenge for loved ones then i hope the third one just ties the knot together and end it once and for all
i havent started the video yet but does this video cover pretty much of everything or should i also watch actually gameplay I've never watched actually gameplay of TLOU but i know its an amazing series and i wanted to watch this or try to watch the gameplay so i can know what im caught up
The video covers the main story beats, which will give you all the major moments, but you can also watch some gameplay to get more of a feel for the moment to moment stuff.
Yeah but maybe it didn’t need one it’s already a good story that finishes nicely and if it had bad storytelling or messed up in any way it could really bring down first game
Originally tess was the big bad of the whole game not gonna lie im so glad they pulled that 180° on her cuz i cant see a world where she was the bag guy T^T
You take every candle scent you can think of and mix them all together.. many smells do not do good when combined with other smells.... not to mention wood, plastics, organics, and etc from the structure of the store itself...
I would play part 2 except it’s not upgraded for ps5 and non upgraded games don’t do good on ps5. Part 1 played great and I want the same performance. Really liked part 1 tho
Part 2 plays very well on PS5, go get it if you haven't already done so. Part 1 actually took some elements from the ps4's version that's available on PS5.
Yes it did... the original was on PS3, then it was remastered for the early PS4, We are now a year into PS5 and PC's with even higher performance than the PS5.. they didn't remake any of the games story, they just redid the graphics and etc..
Both part 1 and part 2 are some of my favorite games of all time and I haven't even played them because of the PS exclusivity. I hope they port both to PC instead of just one.
Had to watch this because part 2 killed the series never playing part 2 because of how a certain character was killed off it was the wrong way to do it
@@MFool64 Depends on who makes it. I'm hoping that they learned from their mistakes because despite reviews, Part 2 still pretty sold well. On name alone, Part 3 still has a decent chance.
I love the first game and the DLC but playing the second game had me like what the f*** way too many times it was confusing and the storages was all over the place. this guy, no offense did not do the storyline Justice you have to play it to really understand why so many people didn't like the second game myself included🤷🏾
Part 2 just doesn't have the same quality of the story, its too drama.. first game had a simple story, and the emotions were the main part of it, second one, not as much.. too many teen drama things going on imo. 7/10 for me. P.S. i loved Jessie, why did he have to die 😞
1st game, decent gameplay and good story. 2nd game, wants you to feel bad for playing it but has a mechanic similar to glory kills that are cool and fun but your supposed to feel bad for doing them.
@@xxarcangelxx143 it doesn’t want you to feel bad. It wants you to question your motives and actions. Why is a game making you question your actions bad but aimlessly killing people with no remorse seen as the “perfect game”?
@@Itoshimi the people who made the game literally said the game is meant to make you feel bad in every aspect of the games story and gameplay and the way they try to do that has been better done in other games way before it.
