I'm reminded how in Animorphs (from around the same time) one of the teens (Tobias) ended up getting trapped in the form of a bird (not a spoiler, happens quite early on) and it's the source of a whole lot of emotional turmoil. Meanwhile, the Street Sharks get stuck in shark form and are just like 'JAWSOME!'

I remember having 3 of the toys. The rocker shark with the hair, the drill beaked swordfish, and the electric eel thing. I remember digging em because they were big rubber monster things. They made for great villains for my figures to fight.

If Street Sharks gets a reboot or a movie, I would watch them. Same with Extreme Dinosaurs. I use to watch the original shows of both when I was a kid. I also had toys from both shows and I use to have VHS tapes of Street Sharks.

Just found my old street shark toys. We've been going through boxes in the basement since the lockdown. My 4 year old flip out over them. They're just the right amount of silly and awesome, or should I say jawsome.

I had one of the hand sharks and I was obsessed with it. Then one day my grandpa had a heart attack (he was okay) and I spent a good amount of time in the hospital as he recovered and would bring toys and 3D magic picture books with me. Wouldn’t you know I left my hand shark in the waiting area one night, and I never saw him again. I still remember how awesome it was to this day.

No word of a lie, the other night in bed my brain kept me awake remembering street sharks. Completely out of the blue. I slept horribly that night - great show.

I loved these toys. They were very durable and cool looking. I thrashed these things not knowing I should have bought a second one to collect.

I had a Hand Shark when I was a kid. I treated it like a separate character from the regular-sized sharks, and named it "Huge." Yep... just "Huge."

I was too old for street sharks, but my little brother, who was 10 years younger, was into it. I just remember the theme song being pretty catchy. And saying jawesome all the time.

Ah, the glorious half-man/half-beast generation of cartoons and toys. I remember having the Big Slammu toy as a kid. Sadly lost it when we moved houses.

When this toyline came out we didn't care about the show. Even as kids, we knew it was mediocre at best but the toys were so damn good. I had Ripster, Lick and Streex figures and i remember thinking how cool the rubbery texture was. Really well made toys at the time. Ripster hand puppet was ridiculously expensive at the time and i really wanted one (for some reason)

I just want to thank you for making this video! One of my favorite channels FINALLY talking about one of my all time favorite childhood tv shows. I knew you'd get around to it eventually but this video was fantastic. "Kids like Sharks." ..But kids also like dragons, ever think about tackling the 90's "Dragon Flyz" show? That would be Jawsome!

A favorite toy line of mine, lost them all but i started collecting them past year again. I stumbled upon some of them in the same box, all complete and in excellent condition. They're sooo good!!

Street Sharks was epic back in the day but in didn't get to see too much of it in the UK but I got to see a good number of episodes... The Tiger Shark dude was my favourite for sure, think I even had him and the Hammerhead as figures

As somebody who was really into Street Sharks as a kid, I always knew something was up with the episode synopses they had online. I distinctly remembered episodes that TV Tome never mentioned and wondered why they wouldn't include them, especially the ones with the Extreme Dinosaurs. It all makes sense now. Some of those false episodes sounded pretty good though, especially the series finale which would have featured a death race where the villains died. I still love the series and was happy to get all 40 episodes new for only $5. I'm still waiting for them to release Extreme Dinosaurs on DVD, because I always that was a surprisingly superior spin-off series. There are Australian and German DVD releases (with an English audio option for the latter) but they are expensive and I only ordered one so I can have some good footage for a music video I'm making. I hope Toy Galaxy covers them at some point in the future.

I had a Street Shark toy. I don't remember which one, but it came with this white stuff that you had to apply to the toy, I guess to add detail. I'd look up what the white stuff was supposed to be, but I can't find anything about the kind of Street Shark I had for the life of me.

I never watched Street Sharks, but my older brother had some Street Sharks toys I played with. They ruled.

I remember loving street sharks as a kid and when I saw that Netflix had them available to watch I was vastly disappointed in the first episode. Since then I avoid any and all rewatching of media I used to love.

I loved STREET SHARKS, but my favorite TMNT knock-off has to be DINO-WARRIORS. It was about four dinosaur brothers who fought crime and ate turkey club sandwiches. Nobody else seems to remember it, even though it was on TV all the time and there were tons of toys. There's a little documentary about them at DinoWarriors.com

As a kid I thought Extreme Dinosaurs was a spin off of Dinosaucers. Never would have guessed it was a spin off of Street Sharks. It may not be a spin off of TMNT but Battle Toads sure felt like a spin off.

As a kid I would draw different ideas for street shark toys, as we speak I'm learning how to mould and such, I have a LOT of ideas, I designed blind swordsman, medieval knights, even a version of louis the shrimp, all from like 1st and second grade, and 2 new ideas Im particularly excited about. I dont know if Im allowed to do that but its literally in my top 5 on my bucket list and Im trying it even if I cant share em lol

I LOVED Street Sharks as a kid!! I'm sad that it's still not around today. I always wanted the boys to find their father. LOL, I also remember that a thing that really differentiated them from the Ninja Turtles was that these guys DIDN'T like pizza. I remember in one of the first episodes, that woman that was always helping them had them at her place and she offered to make them pizza, making them all groan in disgust. That moment really stuck out to me as a kid, as I was like, "Who the heck doesn't like pizza??" Now I know why, LOL. Good times.

A few weeks ago i found a animation cell from Street Sharks at a local store that buys truck loads of random stuff. Somehow a original animation cell wound up at Mardens in Lewiston Maine

man i loved street sharks as a kid, though i doubt i saw every episode. such a shame they stopped making it. Had one of those Jab toys as a kid too, got it for my birthday. Sadly it's gone now, must have either lost it or it was thrown away or donated without me knowing. Wouldn't be the first thing to go like that. Ahwell. Do wonder if maybe Genetic Engineering would be more popular today had Street Sharks been as popular as TMNT or some other shows.

Street Shark is a great but I wished the writer and producer have improve the series before it's ended forever as there a lot of unanswer question about the characters appear in Street Shark like : 1.They father Dr. Robert Bolton during the series the Bolton brother never found their father or reunion in the series, also the viewers like me never got to see what Dr. Robert Bolton really looked like as mutant monster all we got was seeing him in a shadow. 2. Lena is a female allied to the Street Shark beside Ben and even though she appeared mostly in the first season but she only appear in two episodes in the second season which doesn't make sense or why she was drawn out of the series like if she's not a popular character at all. 3. I would liked to know what has happened to Slobster and Slash since they were never seen again after Season 1 and what happened to Killamari and Repteel before the appearence of Dino Venger appear because the writers of the the street shark series doesn't haven't been making sense at all. 4.I still wished Moby Lick, Mantaman and El Swordo appear together in a team up with the Street Sharks and the Dino Venger in the final episodes before the series end.

Honestly, I think street sharks could make a cool video game if it had gameplay mechanics like Sunset Overdrive. Just fun combat and traversal in a fast paced story taking you through interesting levels with over the top set pieces. The characters themselves are just cool, and you could have a tongue in cheek ecological message in there as well.

I loved reading all about that whole fake season back in 2016! Hilarious stuff!
