Best radio station ever before they changed to the F'n Edge... I even went to Brampton to have a look see... Still have all my cassettes of the recordings I did while living there...
Like a blind man in a diamond mine Like more to tell when there's no time Like east, and west, and who knows best Like serving life for someone else's crime I just typed that out by heart, and I first heard those words 25 years ago. That's how much I LOVE this song!
Sim, os anos 80 foram o auge da música!! Até meados da década de 90 ainda tinha algo bom, mas depois caiu ladeira abaixo, hoje as canções são extremamente ruins !!
Absolutely love this album. Their earlier stuff like Waiting for a Miracle and Sleep No More are amazing albums but this deserved so much more recognition and success than it got. This is such a brilliant track.

I liked this record but the production is way too slick, I was really bummed about their direction after Fiction. It seems like they were trying to have hits with all that 80's production slop.
It was good production, I like a lot of keyboards, minimizing rock noise, creating some special atmosphere. At least it is not Stock Aitken, Waterman. That would be too slick and commercial, yeah...
Have you heard the version of this song off the BBC sessions? It's a much better version in my opinion, with a much less commercial sound. They also did a version of High Tide too on that record!
