I am real estate investor in Tampa and I currently have long term and short term this has been a goal of mine to develop and watching your videos is extremely informative. Keep them coming.
I work in post tension home slab building in the Houston area and this was so cool to watch from someone else's point of view. You're a great supervisor! Subcontractors did great work and the finish came out great
thanks for the post. I had the dream of building my own house. I gave it up. However, because of videos like your, I am buying some lad in two weeks. The dream is back on the table.
Wow, everything you share is truly incredible, immensely valuable. You consistently provide high-quality content, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship! The fact that you managed to arrange the concrete pumping truck and be there overseeing it all, wow. You've truly impressed me, buddy.
The water table in this part of Texas is too high to do basements - If you tried digging deep enough for a basement, the room would be flooded nonstop. It’s just not worth the expense to try to place an extra room lower than where the water is sitting.
If the pump trucks not at the house. Ot lot. You don’t need to pay. The travel bs. Is on the driver. And the mix. Is on the company who mixed it. So long story short. He got his breakfast paid for in full and took a Hr off. Depending on mix. You have 5 to 8 hours. Before you have to jack hammer it out of the truck. If your pumping the mud your on the high side.

It’s ashamed we can’t do basements here on our side of Texas. The Woodlands area is anywhere from 125-175 feet above sea level. NYC is 33 feet above and they building up to the shore line sometimes 2-3 levels below grade. An unfinished basement doesn’t get taxed so literally free work space with mechanicals and everything. Great job BTW, never thought about anything on the east side. Everything and all the hype is on the west side of the highway. That’s where I’ve always built.
