Thanks for the video! I was wondering if the Confederates as well used balloons in the War--everyone knows about Thaddeus Lowe and the Intrepid on the Union side. It seems both sides lost interest in aerial reconnaissance; I don't think the Federals used balloons after Chancellorsville.
