This may be odd since this is 2 years old and a game about toast but I've never seen Manly's face until now and it honestly shocked me and made me smile with excitement. He's very handsome!

I had started writing a flippant comment about how this game likely depicted the multi-faceted existence of toast slices before they’re unceremoniously ripped from their depraved reality by anime protagonists who happen to be a bit tardy in the morning, but, after witnessing the ending, such a statement now seems a little tonally incongruous. I wasn’t anticipating a seemingly irreverent game about toast to delve into darker themes and touch upon concepts of subjugation, authoritarianism, unquestioning acceptance of societal norms, submission to monotonous, dead-end jobs, depression, and suicidal ideation. Overall, it’s quite the quirky and deceptively simple experience. I also appreciate how the toasts were often shown holding alcohol bottles; essentially, you could say this game had toasted toasts toasting.

I see horror with toast and all I can think of is burnt toast. Falling apart, no butter...burnt toast

A buddy of mine used to be into hard drugs and one day took LSD with a bunch of his friends and ended up taping a loaf of bread to the roof after fighting windup cars/toys... they insisted that it was to ward off any attackers. Later on in the night they completely forgot about it. And made chili, it ended up falling in the bowl and for the rest of the night they were convinced bread was after them.

I love how Manly completely overlooked the toast saying “It’s only a jump,” and confused it for instructions. Granted, I’m four minutes in, but I’m curious to see if he comes back to it at the ending. (I’ve played the game myself)

Well that took a turn for the worst. Here I was expecting this surreal adventure to end in a surreal way, but then I saw the gun, and I thought is he going to go postal. Nope bam dead the end.

I remember stumbling upon a Let's Play of this done by someone else years ago...I thought I was having a bad drug trip for about half of it. Then I just accepted that discovering videos of weird games is what my life amounts to now.

I remember watching DanTDM play this, and I'm pretty sure he'd be incredibly upset at the fact that you made it through the parkour part without dying once.

This exact video is how I found this channel 3 years ago! I was just scrolling on RU-vid and it looked interesting so I clicked on it. After this, I just clicked on another video from a completely unrelated channel. After about a year I found this channel again and I did not recognize it as I hadn't subscribed. It wasn't until today that I realized that manlybadasshero was it the creator of this video that I stumbled upon three years ago. Now I am subscriber who really enjoys this content. Keep it up your work is amazing!
