Have you watched the Insidious movies? With Arnie, he was possessed but he still murdered someone. He did not get a death penalty but it is understandable why he still got more than one year of imprisonment.

The goal of a horror movie is to scare you. You have to be willing to do it before watching these types of movies. Loved your reaction though. On the other hand, look for the interviews they did with Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga, since really paranormal things always happened on set filming these movies and there were people from the team who left the set in the middle of filming since they could not bear it.

I've watched neither Hill House or this movie, but yes, I CAN tell you that the boy who played David also played young Luke in Haunting, and Billy, one of Wanda's twins in Wandavision. The kids got a decent resume, mostly based on horror (He was also in "Color out of Space, which I DID see). Julian Hilliard is the actors name.

I think this is my favorite reaction from you so far. 😄 I watched this movie in cinema and I really liked it, it was scary and terrifying. It is other than the 2 previous ones, many people don't like it because of that but I like that they did go in another direction with this movie. I hope that they do a fourth one. Big fan of the Conjuring-Universe. Conjuring 2 is still my favorite of this universe followed by Conjuring 1 and Annabelle 3 (that movie was way better and scarier than I thought).

The movie Exorcist isn't really anything close to the actual events so I wouldn't call it documentary at all. It's inspired by a story the author heard about a real exorcist case, but the details are pretty different. If you can watch Conjuring, Exorcist shouldn't be too bad for you. It's a total classic and holds up great for its age.

Manslaughter means the body did it but wasn’t in the “right mind state” same thing can happen when let’s say, getting into a fight and you accidentally kill him with one punch. Actually this is my favorite modern franchise. As long as they stick to the based on "True Events" actual investigation's it can continue over & over because The Warrens have a bunch of paranormal investigations. The Ed & Lorraine will do it as much as they want but after just like in reality The Warrens pass away and if there's interest, the newest mainstream actors can take over the new stories. Franchise's die because of the same villain being the central character.

I'd love to see this James wan do a Halloween movie. This is kind of stuff that happened to Michael. Something like this especially in the original novelization he was hearing voices that told him I guess to kill his sister.the was up there and maybe it made him do it all but while he's doing it there was two voices his saying no he don't want to do it and the other the voice saying yeah do it do it. For sake of knowledge, anyone can buy the book "De Exorcismis et Supplicationibus Quibusdam" A manual, written and printed by the Church of Rome (copyright apud civitate Vaticana) entirely written in latin. It's a manual on what to do, how to deal with exorcisms. Recently the Church accepted that as a last resort if a priest is not available, any Christian can execute those rites, bless salt and water and perform an exorcism reading said book. Ask if you want to know more!
