This was actually my favorite sequel they made! The story is just so well done and intricate! The idea that it didn’t matter whose soul just a soul the witch needed to take created a very ominous feeling.
I love the first two conjuring movies. That “clap, clap” is one of my favorite jump scares. And the 2nd movie is just very enjoyable. The series’ goal doesn’t seem to have the goal of so many other scary movies to scare or leave you shocked and disturbed. Not that there’s anything wrong with that! I just appreciate variety in the horror genre. And I too love the sweet relationship between Ed and Loraine.
I love this film, I love the different path it took so as not to become repetitive. The Warrens' relationship is incredible The next film is The Nun 2 which is in theaters and then The Conjuring 4
Same. The second one went into hokey territory but the third felt like a return to form imo. I like that it was more of a thriller/mystery with horror elements too, made it fresh.
Since you guys are marathoning the Conjuring universe you should try the nun. Vera Farmiga's (Lorraine) sister, Taissa is the main lead in there both are amazing actresses. I enjoyed your reaction very much ❤❤
I have a movie recommendation for you to react to: THE GRUDGE (2004), this is a remake of a Japanese horror film, but much more interesting, tense and with some scary images, you'll like it
Yes i agree with everyone else that this is probably the weakest one among the main three, probably because the main antagonist is "only" a human ? Well even tho she's a witch but still it's easier to defeat a human, but i think that the plot is quite interesting and different from the other two. Now if the Last Rites will have the story of the Snedeker's funeral home in 1986, i think we still have hope for at least a better Conjuring movie than the third one, besides they even haven't announce who's directing the 4th one, we can still hope that it will be James Wan, or at least the director from Annabelle Creation :)
@@rockwithabby yea apparently HBO Max or MAX now and according to Warner Bros there gonna continue the story established in the feature films they announced it in like April sometime
i love the conjuring universe and i've loved watching your reactions! would you consider watching the fast and furious franchise? it's one of my favourites!
While not the best Conjuring movie and not very scary, this film is still great cause of Ed and Lorraine's sweet charming chemistry and characters =) The Nun 2 is better than the first Nun! =) Scarier and more character development and story.
Yall should get into Hereditary, Sinister with Ethan Hawke is one hell of a ride, genuinely creepy af. The Show Evil, The Dark and The Wicked, TheFear Street trilogy, Pans Labrinth, Funny Games, The Collector is a classic and awesome as well and The sequel The Collection.
Worst one in my opinion like it’s not terrible but it doesn’t come close to the first or second film and there’s like no steaks so it’s just idk not a fav but still good love them together and love you guys so much!!! Also what are you guys gonna be for Halloween!?
@@hsmorg3640 no I meant for Ed and Lorraine cause if these movies are based of the real events they’ve helped solve then we know nothing bad will happen to him like the whole movie I knew nothing would happen to ed because in real life he dies in 2006 and the movie takes place waaay before that but no the rest had steaks for sure
@@noahtrevino5908 Ah, yea, true.. I mean, there's stakes for people who don't know how long they lived for, etc.. that is where a problem lies in these movies based on real events, anyone who knows them won't be as scared or whatever
@@hsmorg3640 no agreed 100% i love going into a movie completely blind like not watching the trailer or knowing anything about it cause it just has a way bigger affect on me but the based on a true event one I’m like okay I wanna know everything about what really happened haha kinda ruin the rest tho but still very scary and a great story
As far as I remembered from the movie, the witch wanted them, David, Arne and Ed was because the witch wanted to get the Lover (Arne), the child (David) and the son of God (Ed). idk, I'm not fully sure but I think I'm 50%-75% right 😂😅
Loved your reactions to the conjuring universe, just to say the Nun in the Nun movies played by Tessa Farmega is sister Irene, the Nun 2 is better story wise then the 1st Nun but isn't scary the 1st Nun had more jumpscares Rumour is the next conjuring the last rite is a crossover with the nun u will see why when u watch the Nun 2. Also yeah ur a swiftie ❤
You knew that the movements that the child makes when twisting his body were real, in fact, nothing digitalized was used for those movements, but the reality is that they were made by a girl who is a contortionist, and the only thing they modified was the face to put the child's
I do not like this movie for many reasons but I must say that the moments with Ed and Lorraine and the way she spoke about him and their past when he was in the hospital is adorible. This was the only case where being posessed was accepted as a defence though unlike here he wasn't on death roll it was just a longer time in jail is all. The kid that was possessed in the beginning is the actor of Luke when he was younger in the tv show Haunting of Hill House just so you know but he has been in many other things as well. It does have it's jump scare moments of course but I can not take a jump scare seriously when the song Call me of Blondie is playing in the background...I just can't because all it does is make me laugh more than being scared in the moment. That aside it's nice to see the actor of Walter from the tv show Fringe in this one and if you have not seen that one I highly recommend you check it out because it was a very good sci-fi/horror show.
