I'm excited about this year's study. While I've studied Genesis before, I'm not sure that we made it all the way through with any of my Genesis studies! :)

Thank you for this. Also, I think the tree of life is evidence that the dead are asleep. Not in heaven as some disembodied spirit. We get immortality at the second coming, not at death. We sleep until the resurrection and then we once again have access to the tree of life. The Bible says God ALONE is immortal. Because of Adam's sin, we die. And the Bible says that's a sleep where the dead know nothing. We forget about the tree of life. Thank you.
