We shouldn't rely on it much. But with augmentation, you could take a writer, and just crank out like 10 books a day, letting the machine do a large part of the work. Arguably it's not 100% your work, like if you use ChatGPT, But, if you write your own programming or build your own computers, then it basically is just a pencil you're using.

We are not even close to achieving true AI. OpenAI and other language models are only capable of pattern recognition, nothing more. They lack reasoning and logic. You can read about this in recent research. I believe there are still two key issues being overlooked: cultural influence and sexual topics. Firstly, cultural norms are imposed on these models, primarily from an American perspective. All AI is created by the same groups of people, in the same place, with the same cultural and political biases. Imagine if OpenAI promoted the same viewpoints in the Middle East-they would likely face dissatisfaction. Secondly, language models struggle with sexual topics. They can't engage in long-term conversations or role-play, lacking both long-term memory and planning capabilities. They rely on pattern matching and can write short explicit chat messages, but they lack creativity, and they often have problems with understanding time and space. A other major issue: most AI is heavily censored in the same way your only way to find something free is huggingface.
