i think you're great! good point @ keeping the future in mind cuz Change always happens, it IS hard to remember, especially when we're stuck! Nothing is permanent -- this is both a wonderful and tragic thing. Warmly, Natasha
i was having one of those "omg what has my life turned into" moments tonightttt... your words were comforting... they reminded me of the bigger picture, made me grip my reality, and now i may go to sleep cuz im beat... thanks samantha xoxo
If you are interested in roller derby, the Rat City Rollergirls play in KeyArena in Seattle, and they are one of the best in the country, but it will be a while before they play there again, since they are in the post-season. They have a documentary that I like called "Blood On The Flat Track" that I like. One of the ways I changed my life post-transition was to get into roller derby, and it's now the focus of my future. It's difficult, but awesome!
Heh, yeah, i had to go to shoreline community college last week, and getting there was sooo going to suck, as i am in kirkland. I ended up taking my motorcycle so that I could use the HOV lanes. I was cold, but I made it to my appointment on time. the busses here are sooo undependable, and take forever...
