The container barge collides the bridge in Rotterdam 

This simulation run is done to analyze the reasons and assess the risks of the accident for training purposes and improving awareness of the navigators. The barge and containers are developed in a full hydrodynamic model.
The unexpected accident could be avoided with proper voyage planning preparation including air-draught calculation and well manoeuvering techniques.
