I will argue the point of needing a WR1, especially as I've seen a LOT of comentary about it with the Packers reciever room. Historically, if you look back over the past 30 years of Packers recieving cores. The most successful seasons have been when there were multiple recievers that could be gone to any given Sunday. Even when we had a true WR1, there were still a number of others that could and would step up every single game. I really hope that they focus on having a Wide Reciever ROOM instead of trying to just have a WR1. Putting all your eggs in a single basket has been a problem for more and more NFL teams of late.
EXACTLY i been saying this that SPREADING the ball around is better as opposed to going to one or two guys I.E A Rod and Adams/lazard Aaron became somewhat predictable, but by spreading the ball around makes it THAT much harder on Defense's i hope Jordan love has a good relationship with ALL his receiver's that way like u said any one of those guys could step up ANY given sunday IMHO GO Pack GO
Any of the top 5 receivers could potentially be #1. If Watson stays healthy, he's likely to be that guy. But you concentrate on taking away Watson and the other 4 guys will rip you.
Looking at loves pff grades his floor at his worse is a 60 grade which is right around average for pff and was only really getting these grades before they expanded the playbook midway through the season. That’s not normal outliers. Bad quarterbacks fluctuate down to 30-40 grades. His worst was a 60 and then he was pretty solid 75 or above after that 2nd half of season The crazy part is his ceiling is mvp god mode
They dominated the 49ers for 55 minutes in the playoffs, and had already beat the 2 remaining teams in the regular season. This year they are better. No team can be a favorite over them. My money is already placed.
Last year the Packers were the youngest team the NFL has had over the past 7 seasons. That’s 224 different teams. Then this offseason they got Younger in FA. Who does that? Who gets younger, signing veterans? Then they had the second most draft picks - 11. This team is ready to explode.
As a Lions fan I put GB right there with Detroit. Love is an excellent QB Good wr room Good te room Oline solid Dline excellent LB solid Corners good Safeties solid Run D and oline areas of concern
The packers and detroit could win this division ,both should go deep in the playoffs...just added jacobs still have dillon and signed Loyd from usc. Watson( if healthy) reed ,doubs and muskgrave should be even better offensively this year...nfc championship contenders
Now if Love doesn't turn into Brett Favre aka " I stole a lot of money from Mississippi " and don't throw the ball across the field again. Y'all might have a chance to get to the Super Bowl 🏈
Love had 2 terrible picks in the 4th quarter with the game in his hands as the QB. One with the lead and one playing from behind in the last minute. There’s no doubt he had the chance to tie or win that game but he folded under pressure big time. The last pick was on first down when he should have known to throw it out of bounds and go on to 2nd down. That’s shows he was really rattled and lost his composure. Love does need to improve in the two minute drill under pressure and playing from behind.
@@petervaichus6978 if the rookie kicker doesn’t miss the extra point, there’s no overtime and the packers win. Moment was too big for the youngin. Yes, love had plays he wants back but he definitely was not the problem.
@@petervaichus6978 he literally worked his ass off to have the team in position to win but it’s a team game and if others don’t do their job, it’s not on Jordan love. Please rewatch the game
@@BiGGPG - Jordan Love played MVP level during the last 8 games of the season with 20 TDs and only 1 pick. And then in the Dallas game he lead the offense incredibly. Started out great in the SF game and had the Packers in a position to win; but in the second half and getting behind he was less effective playing QB. Sure the kicker missed an x-point and FG but good QBs overcome those things, like fumbles also. I watched the game closely and Jordan faltered under pressure playing behind with 2 ill-advised picks. There’s 56 seconds on 1st down when Love is flushed out of the pocket rolling to his right when he just chucks the ball across the field to the left with three red jerseys all there and no open Packer WR. Watch it again and see. That’s a desperation throw a QB throws with five seconds left in a game. Not on 1st down with a minute left! He lost his time and down perspective. He could have easily thrown that ball out of bounds or ran out of bounds and moved on to 2nd down. That was a sign he lost his head due to the pressure. Can he improve playing from behind and under big game pressure? Sure he can. Time will tell. Mahomes makes that winning drive despite his team mess ups or defense giving up the go ahead TD. Purdy played poorly early in that game but in the 4th went 6-7 passing and got the winning TD. Love faltered when his team needed him most and he indeed was the main reason GB did not win that game. He certainly had his chances but they resulted in two poor picks instead.
How are they overhyping, they were so close to the NFC championship a year ago, moved on from Joe Barry, brought in free agents and retained all key contributors
Nah, Packers match up really good against the chiefs (saw it last year, we destroyed the chiefs in the regular season). I would say obviously the 49ers but also like the Ravens maybe bills would be bad matchups. This might change with the new defense scheme but as a Packers fan chiefs are the least of my worries.
@@kr0b1486 I just think if the chiefs are the Super Bowl any team in the entire league will not be able to beat them. They have a chance to make history and will do absolutely whatever it takes to get it done. The current best coach and the current best QB with a great defense. I’m in no way a chiefs fan but I do believe they will 3peat this year no matter what.
Absolutely not. Too many teams have improved. Each year, teams get closer to defeating them. We had little problems with them. They are fortunate we didn't play them in the SB last year. For every piece they add and lose, other teams have added multiple pieces. I think this year they don't win it. IMO
The problem for the Packers is the Lions play in division. GB may be the youngest team if the NFL, but the Lions are the most talented young team in the NFL…
He was hurt much too often and he fumbles in the biggest games. Josh Jacobs was a rushing champ. Jones never was. Could have been had he stayed healthy possibly. I still love the kid, though.
Name the Quarterback that had the most turnovers to end a team's potential drive to end a game? ... Jordan Love (5) Also several games where the final drive was- 1st down: Incomplete pass 2nd down: Incomplete pass 3rd down: Incomplete pass 4th down: Incomplete pass ... Turnover on downs Bottom 5 in Adjusted Completion Percentage and Poor Pass % Jordan Love is the definition of a QB that you can win with him going through the motions, but you'll never win BECAUSE of Jordan Love
@@Sono460 No Cope... The Bears have Caleb Williams, what would they be coping over? Look at facts, which is what this is. Jordan Love was terrible, and he's completely overhyped by the media and analysts who ride their coat tails instead of doing their own work. This channel runs off of hype instead of doing actual analysis. Look into it if you don't believe me, look at the end of every game and tell me if Jordan Love won the game or was a place holder? 26 QB's could have won a SuperBowl with the Packers last year... Jordan Love is not an NFL QB
@@andrewjones4774 False, based off of blown games and terrible QB'ing? Where do you guys get this stuff? Oh... Your stat box that shows he has 4,000+ yards. I see what kind of analysts we have here 🤔
