The control tower was the place where flying control was housed, where all operations of this airfield, in relation to the aircraft, were conducted. Richard Tallent, volunteer curator of the Thorpe Abbotts museum, explains it all.

Console gamers don't play SIMs. I mean PC gamers got a deep RPG called Baldur's Gate, that was never ported to console, but Bioware did make a simple hack and slash called Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance. This is how it's always been.

In a world of celebrity cameo micro transactions and brand deal weapon skins, and at worst blatant rewriting of history, thank God there's at least one dev/publisher who's focus is historical accuracy.

Great listen, but what is it with stretching the presumably 4:3 footage to even "more widerer" than 16:9 and adding bars to the top and bottom? Did anyone actually _watch_ those passages before greenlighting? Asking for a friend.

If you go to the 100th bomber group airbase in Thorpe Abbotts, Norfolk on Google Earth you can still see the outline of the old airstrip even to this day on the now farm fields.
