I was just recently thinking of making a custom figure of Richard Corben's Den, from Heavy Metal. This figure would be perfect, just needs a brown cape, and to be made anitomically correct with a little epoxy sculpt.
These are almost identical style wise to the Storm Collectables wrestling figures. Same hands and same soft feel torso. Some of the best figures ever made indeed!
Ramkeys are nice & cheap. I pre’d 1 but he was anatomically correct so I cancelled but, I’m definitely getting the one counter parted to Adam . Cuz he looks like super man & supposed to be shipping in all white. So blank ca nvas. But I’m not coloring
Looks like the head from the new LSSJ Goku figure from S.H. Figuarts could work on that peg. There's already people making and selling Goku's clothes for 1/12 scale, so i might do that.
I may have to get this guy. I have had an itch to do a full custom and I think he may be the one or at least one kinda like him. I really like the soft body and full range of motion
I’m not sure that acrylic paint will work very well on that rubber upper chest piece or the hands. Especially when you move or bend the pieces. I’m guessing the paint might peel off from the rubber parts.
@@NostalgiaUnboxed I don’t know much about painting either. I do know acrylic works great on hard plastic. I know changing the color of the plastic and rubber by submerging pieces in synthetic dye works very well but it’s still a messy long process.
You're right, he does kinda look like the Engineers or whatever they were called from Prometheus. I'm rubbish at customizing, but I could see picking this up for drawing.
Brother, I need a blank, customizable, thin cartoon body or kid figure to work with. And SHfiguart's Kid is ok, but super brittle. Adam kid exists yet?
@NostalgiaUnboxed if you have no leads, man, I for sure won't find anything yet. I will be forced to get one of those t13 dummies and custom build a toon body like that for now.
I wish it came with shoes instead of bare feet. You can throw a costume on him, or even just paint the skin to look like one, but you have to buy alternative feet.

@@NostalgiaUnboxed I was up SO late trying to do as much digging as I can find, the best I could find was sh figuarts body kun that would HOPEFULLY work. I was just more so taking precautionary measures before I went on eBay and bought some head sculpts before fully diving in but I guess the fun part about all this is the trial and error! Thank you for still responding, I absolutely LOVE your content and you’re the only action figure content creator I follow and whose advice I actually listen too, keep up the amazing content!
@@333chapman6 thank you for the kind words. I do think it can be fun trying to figure it all out. If you have issues with the head connecting to the neck peg you might be able to connect with some 3D printer/sculptors to get a replacement
@@NostalgiaUnboxed i think Adam is a good name. anyways, i have bought similar figures off Aliexpress. I have one that has no head, and i haven't found a good head for him. I think some of the younger sisters of Barbie can loan him clothing.
