That's awesome that you just built that to come here 😊👍 awesome footage love how b,a is in there 😂 lads did a great job organising the event looking forward to next one, thanks for visiting an the shout out Phil was a pleasure to meet you😊👍
That's a beautiful crawler compound. You guys across the pond have got it made when It comes to rc. I just finished a c24 lcg, capable and different. They're great to look at too! Thanks for the awesome videos! 👍🏻👍🏻
I absolutely love that wpl is proving to be a capable company... Their rigs have come so far so fast... My buddy and I are actually doing a build of with C24s... With a budget of $150USD, an impossible feat with many other crawlers...
@@TomleyRC I’m looking for a rc rock crowler and was looking at the rock hobby Toyota Land Cruiser and have been enjoying your videos for a few weeks and have been enjoying them a lot lately Keep going with the good stuff The Fat tractor.
That truck is ace, have you ever been to Carnaby crawlers, they have a full rc set up,boat lake, buggy track, massive crawler setup and an area dedicated to trucks and lorrys
Awesome meeting there, Tomley! 😃 I would love to have something like that here in my area... So I just searched about Brazilian Facebook groups to join... And I found one! 😃 With 12 members... 😂 Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Excellent job Phil for such a short amount of time! Your low CG rig looked super and performed really well. No such event like this in my neck of the woods! Such a shame!😕great video bud! Thanks for sharing!
I said no spings worked suprisingly well!, now need try the same on the gmade ,thats how mine is running.Just add some tall tyres make up for the spring and height combined with ther inverted v rear damper setup it rocks😀
Tomley, I think u out done ur self this time. It looks very cool. If u leave to top off all I would do is cut that headache rack down to the solid pease and the back of the cab down to that hight also. But if u go topless. U must get that driver a hat. Lol.. pour guy!😂! Add some 80-90mm dessert lizard shocks with no springs just oil to keep that droop and LCG. That look with the wide wheel base👍 and last thing where u notched out that bed I would go from that depth and cut straight out the back towards the back bumper so as if the whole beg is the same all the way back. But possibly keep the original bed size on the section in front of the Back wheels. I hope I explained that to where u can understand or have a visual idea of what I'm talking about. But either way. Great job! The color is perfect. I can only imagine what it would look like with some proper crawler wheels and beedlocks. I would wheel that thing daily 👍 again, very cool.
Probably the same reason I take the electronics out.. I've got an up grade I mind but after waiting for the parts I have to "get" back to it.. instead I "forget" back to it lol 😉
Looks great doing it's thing! I was in a bit of a world of my own enjoying the trails while you and Liam were running those I'd have love to follow you guys round with the portal equipped C44 wheelbase C34.
Looks awesome! Do you still have your FTX ZORRO brushless? If you do can you make a video of bashing it or taking it out on the race track, I’ve been looking to get one and wanted to see how much abuse it would take. Great video as always
I own a couple of wpl rigs now. I'm enjoying them. I just like how we can get a crawler rig this cheap and still be able to get somewhere. I have a d12 and a couple of c24s.
So I know you were pressed for time but I've seen video's on these wpl's that show you foie to get better steering. Great job otherwise I really like the build. It really shows that you doing need to spend a ton of money to have fun with a crawler
Good work. I was almost going to go but didnt. Wish i did now. The green c34 you were running with .. any ideas what tyres he had on? Im doing a build and they would bw perfect!
damn..cool looking rig and what a place to visit and take your buggy out! wish i had something like that where i live, but the nearest place would be 4-5 hours to drive. think i'll stick to my local conservation area and stay away from doggies who might chew it all up to bits. see you in the next vid! cheers.
Thank you for giving wpl some love Truck looks fantastic on the run you made The other wpl there with you looks really good I have a c24 but steering linkage is junk and can't seem to find a fix for it Any thoughts
Amazing ride u gave me an idea gonna try to take my springs off on my axial scorpion gonna test the differance to see thanks !!!! It pais to look at other peoples videos rock on the crawlers!!!!
Tomley you may have seen me in the comments before asking the same thing which is can we have more videos and upgrades on the feiyue fy08 like body wheels/tyres and suspension
I'm probably going to be called all kinds of stupid 😆 BUT can someone please tell me what W P L stands for,( I am only just getting back into RC after 30 years and I know nothing about crawling. Any help is much appreciated, cheers 🍻
That rig turned out awesome. I like it! If you're wanting to extend your chassis, check out the latest video I uploaded today. I share trick I stumbled upon for how to keep 2mm hardware centered in the original chassis holes. In case you want to extend the chassis or add things without drilling new holes or because the existing holes are already in the perfect spot. 🤙
I got a c14 I fit one of my d12 body's on it but not sure how I should go about upgrading the electronics I don't wanna spend a bunch but I also wanna have a little more control then I do now any suggestions what to use?
For my c24 I purchased uxcell m3 threaded rod and m3 metal ball links so I could make my own length 4 link so I could extend the wheelbase to what I needed. But I had drill and tap the axle brackets so I used a 2 in 1 drill & tap which was a easy as drilling a hole. But you will also need an m3 nut/bolt kit to mount them. Everything was available on Amazon prime, will share links if anyone wants. Also used shrink wrap to cover the unused threads. It works really well except the shocks I got don't pivot.. so I'm back with extended stock shocks for now. Anyone know of some quality 60mm oil shocks? With ball link mounts? Been thinking about trying the cantilever suspension setup that's on thingiverse..🤔
