Fools Blade 2 also has starters, which give you a weapon to start with! You can even take them apart and rebuild it! There’s several expansions, including more youtubers, a collab with the Swords webcomic and a pack built around the Guy From The Future’s universe!
Yeah, but any time an animated character brings a gun to a sword fight, it does NOT end well for them... Even when they are silly enough to have a gun that is also a sword! 😅
Just played this with my friends today! The game is really fun, our only issues currently are the movement of the sword cards, and we do wish more loot was available to support more players :)
You needed a backing tier where there was a signed card but no 1-on-1 animation for like 100 people or something (hand cramp? what hand cramp?) I would've totally pledged into that one 😅

Dude, you should make this into a digital game and you could like scan the cards into your Jack and you could do you like bosses and every time you defeat a boss you get the card, but it has Lower stats.
Over 30k swords? The meta going to change so much before the first expansion purely because there are so many options. Like first it’s going to be big sword and then shield sword then bomb sword just in cycles
So, I donated to Kickstarter and I’m gonna get the game but… is it playable with 2 people? I just saw that it was a fun looking game and that my favorite animator made it, I didn’t actually check any of the details 😭

Finally bought it for the 2nd round of pre-order!. I was thinking on using the sleeves for them unsure how many to get? and will it fit inside the sword? I got the sword plus expansion, cant wait to receive it and play!
Not the coolest card game ever, but certainly a very fun one, and most importantly, one that will hit the table many times. I only got some issue with some rulings regarding timing. When people can play things ANYTIME, there’s nothing mentioned in the rulebook that settles how are you resolving things played by multiple players at the same time. Example: we are at the tavern, and I want to play 2 tavern cards and my opponents want to play 1. I want to play my 2 tavern cards back to back, uninterrupted by other players. I need to know who has priority here, and how can someone hold their priority so that they don’t get interrupted. If the rule is just “he who shouts their card faster gets to play it first” I don’t like it. It needs more solid rules on priority. I experimented with some house rules on this, but I need to know from an official source who has playtested this.
