I just watched Chris Harris in he’s Collecting Cars series, driving Richard Tuthill’s take on the original 911. I’m sorry but it makes Singer Porsche’s look like a nonsense. Around 350hp, 11,000rpm in a classically styled 911, weighing in at around 850kg. My gosh, the sound!!! Anyone reading this, if you haven’t already, you have to go watch this episode. The hairs are still standing up on the back of my neck!! What a car, Chris’s driving and Carey’s moving photography!! Richard Tuthill, you are the man for creating such a gorgeous little monster!! 🔥🔥🔥

the best wide body work I've ever seen

I have a 12 year old Singer that is exquisite. The build quality is incredible and it's 350 hp feels like at least 100 more. It has just the right amount of power and grip that it wants to be driven hard but not so powerful it tries to kill you with each stab of the throttle. The looks and performance of the DLS isn't for me but being a Singer l expect it will be mindbending.

The back end looks so much wider than the front that it gives me the same energy as those Harley Trikes made for geriatrics, had they widened the front equally it would get more universal appeal than what looks like 50/50 good/bad

Just you wait. ‘86 944 TurboS. ‘89 928 S4. But I still wanted a ‘67 911S. 1992. At long last. A 911. A new ‘91 Carrera 4. Put an Albrex supercharger in it. Fun. Beats the heavier 408 hp factory turbo with 450hp. 2001 to present. Business ups and downs, marriage, kids. No heart throbbing sweetheart in my life. Everyday in my little Honda I fantasize about my beloved 911. So that beautiful Singer that looks like my beloved 911S is $1.8 million, eh? Like being in high school again drooling over that 911S.

I prefer the looks of the first singer Porsche, and that color is awesome and the overall stance perfect.

I'm sure that's a very nice car and Ruf also makes very nice cars from Porsche but for me not based on price or performance in my opinion I like a few stock Porsches better. Examples: 959, 993 Turbos and Turbo S, GT1 street version, and Carrera GT. If i saw any of those next to any newer GT3 or restomoded anything I wouldn't be looking at the other cars.

Although compared to other cars 700hp isn’t a lot but it’s in a car that only weighs 2200lbs. Basically a ton. At that weight 700hp is enough to have fun and scare you if you’re not careful but it wouldn’t be unstreetable. It’s just enough to have a blast driving. I would buy it but not for that much money.

I just can't unimagine the rear end of the donar car boxed in by the wide body kit. There is just something that doesn't look right? I love every other aspect of this Porsche though!
