Phil you have to see the options they have to put a Bluetooth speaker box to scale (for back inside panel) , i am about to install the one i purchase and will let you know how it sounds, so many options for this model. Great video bro, glad you got one. Cheers mate🍺😉👍🏼💯
No creating for me this weekend, our house is down with this Norovirus bug, so here I am, 02:11 on a Saturday morning rewatching your uploads! I just thought I’d take a moment and say that I appreciate the effort you put into your videos, always so polished and crystal clear…. I always forget to speak when I’m filming and I’ve not quite mastered camera settings, so a bit hit or miss with me. I love this hobby, I was born in 73 and been mad about rc from as far back as I can remember… Now my 17 year old daughter is as nuts about them as me, my hobby shop bill has now doubled, I can’t get a new toy without her getting one too 😂 You are in for a treat if your daughter grows up to be as mad about rc as you, I get to hang out with my daughter every weekend at race meetings, crawler events, bashing and out on the trails!!! It’s awesome 😎 not many Dads get to share a hobby with their teenage daughters 😃 Anyway, top job, looking forward to the next upload
You need some curb feelers on it, Take some soldering wire, Dip the tip in red paint, Mount to body. Great color to it, with just enough metal flake too it. Cheers to you Phil !!!!
Ridiculously Awesome car! I can imagine myself going for a stroll at sunset with some tunes coming from the car and one of those hats to hold a frosty beverage as I fumble with all various controls. Bring on Summer!
I think Redcat is nailing with these things. Some of the custom painted bodies I have seen are just incredible. The 64 has a Reef's high-speed servo controlling both front arms to hop. If this had the weights in the back you could probably get this one to hop too.
This this thing is radd maaan! I used to have a snotty green 77 Buick Regal that had the same body style, but without all the suspension tricks. I’ve seen these on horizons website. Didn’t know Redcat is the new tinder for Rc folk, I want to take this one home with me and ride it “low and slow”!😂😜❤️
👏👏👏👏 I was checking this out at my local hobby shop and thought it was cool but I wasn't sold on it untill now. 👌 Video great location. I know I was told that there's a bunch of accessories and more to come as well. 👊👊👍👍
Awesome car. Thanks for showing. I'll hope they'll add the electronics in the nearer future. For putting an USB-sick with your own music in and in an automatic-mode on the transmitter the car performs the ups and downs by itself. And of course a speaker has to be inside😉
Wow, this is *SO* cool!! You can play with perspective with this one.. Set the camera very close to the car itself and you stand wayyy back and control the remote. You will look like vato making his full size car dance! 😆
Holy sh*t, now I feel old hearing you were born in '79. I was 9 when this car rolled out. My best friend had an '81 with the same body style. Edelbrock manifold, Holley 4 barrel, dual exhaust, Cragar 8 spokes, it looked sick.
i see "training day" all over this thing haha! nice choice, cant wait to see what you choose to do with this one! maybe add under carriage lights and "spinner" rims....no idea how that one would be made but hey, shoot for the stars right?
I love the way it looks and the color really suits it. Anyway, is there any news on the little xiaomi jimny? I'd really like to see you upgrade and fiddle with it.
Thats mad I was actually looking at this particular model and then you release a video on it a few days later. Thanks for the helpful advice tomlin keep up the great work 👏👏👍
Wow; I had no idea this part of the hobby existed. It's looks cool. I kinda want one, but feel a 1/24 will come along then you can do some scale body swaps.
I'll get my RC fix through you😀 I've wanted one of these for a long time 😍😍 I got my scx24 Jeep Gladiator yesterday with a few LMT and Crawler bodies 😀😀👍👍
If you could find a way to add some weight to the trunk area, I definitely think you could get it hopping. The only way the 64' hops is because of the weight they put in the faux gas tank.
Cool ride! RC Everyday on RU-vid got the 64 when it came out. He ordered a set of aluminum wire rim. They came with the tires as well. Check out his video on it. Very cool. If that Monte Carlo was black it would look like Denzel Washington from the movie Training Day.
Great video. I remember seeing the 64 when it came out and thought it looked incredible. It's such a shame there isn't really any suppliers that stock RedCat as they do some awesome vehicles. I got a gen8 axe edition off Ebay as was only way I could get one without paying to much. Since brexit it's got even worse.
Really think these are cool! I just feel like I would run a battery or two through it then it would sit on the shelf. There are some really great ones that people have customized.
cool! my friend had a similar car in real. but, instead of a low rider, he had other "plans" for it. when he had it complete, it would run the 1/4 mile in just under 11 seconds! not bad for a "backyard mechanic". don't see any low riders where i live, but i bet they would be epic to see in real. cheers and see you in the next video.
Awesome I'm so pleased you have this. I'm planning to get one when I'm in the states in a couple of months time. Its such a shame they aren't available in the UK.
