This MSI format should be the new standard. This has been the most enjoyable international event to watch in a long time

The choke vs bad bit had me in stitches.

Vedius it was worlds where mad threw the 10k lead after repeatedly diving Kahn. And Msi mad was up 2-1 and just got beat by showmakers sylas.

Glad they touched at the end the fact that international tournaments so rarely go how we think they will, especially in the first week. Beyond last year there’s usually one western team that surprises. Hoping for at least one to.

This format has been great to watch. Can only hope for that deep LB run to solidify the narrative😤

Hope at least one EU jungler gets to play BelVeth and does well. I'm also excited to see if Emenes plays any facilitators as chadly as he plays everything else, if C9 brings something like Kaisa out.

My big question to the cast is, do you think that Jinx is a strong pick for the players in this upcoming stage? Of the games it was played it has a bad win rate in the tournament so far and the only person to not drop a game on it I think is Hans Sama. I feel like Jinx is a bait pick that if you don't 100% build around that you may give up a game or two. NA struggled to pin down whether or not to play her in the week of LCS finals and FlyQuest got clapped for picking her/Zeri into these Vi/Wukong compositions, do you think if NA/EU mind control LCK/LPL into this pick we have a chance at taking a game off of them or are they just good on those characters?

I'm writing this on Thursday. So unless Golden guardian pulls a major upset tomorrow and Friday. We are looking at a all EU in a lower bracket and they will never get to play each other. Awesome!

The GenG of today is miles better than the GenG of 2020/2021. The G2 of today is nowhere near as creative or dominant as the 2018/2019 version. This series won’t be close.

G2 most likely too upset they are the most creative team which I think gives them the best chance to catch Gen.G off guard. Hoping at least one LEC/LCS team can grab a series!

My concern is that as soon as this draw happened. LCK is safe to scrim LPL. But the western teams can only scrim the opposite eastern region from who they’re playing against. So C9 can only scrim lck or EU. And MAD can only scrim LPL or NA. But will they really get those scrims anymore if LCK AND LPL are safe to scrim each other? Hope they learned a lot before this draw happened.

Most likely upset is C9 over BLG. C9 beat GG and GG took a game off of BLG so C9 taking 2 games is expected imo 3 would be an over performance but is possible.
