The copper golem would have been a fun, but it has no real functional use. I actually like the Allay because it makes sorting non-stackable items automated with redstone. This is super useful for raid farms as you don’t need to go through double chests of crossbows and iron armor to get some totems.
@@ThatOneKid5323 you know how mobs move? It's entirely random. If you were to make a redstone line that leads from a pressure plate to the machine a mob can just step on it and start the machine. The only issue is that it's not compact since the mob would need a 3x3 area (at least), but the golem won't make as much of a difference because it would use the same line but be in a 2x1 area with a lot less randomness
Why i think allay is better that copper golem There are a couple of reasons why i prefer the allay, but the main reasen is because the allay would save thousands of irons worth of hoppers, trust me you dont realize how much iron a hopper system takes up. Why i dont like the copper golem is because its less practical its main use would to add movement to a build but other than that its not really useful, for example if you would argue that is good for randomizers or sequences you would be wrong because you can already do both of them with comparators and repeaters.
Every mob vote turns out shit. We got the phantom which is annoying and basically useless (if you have an elytra you’re likely going to use mending to repair it) and doesn’t even make sense (is it actually a phantom? Is it part of our Minecraft nightmares? If so, why does it drop items?) when we could have had a giant hostile squid or a super blaze. Imagine if we got a tentacle weapon that could drag mobs towards you like guardians or a squid organ that propels you through water, or if we got a blaze shield that could use a shockwave attack or light enemies on fire? Then we got glow squid which doesn’t even glow instead of a magical ice themed illager to make the mostly barren snow biomes more interesting. The evoker drops the totem of undying, imagine what the iceologer would have dropped? Maybe an item that slows or freezes enemies? How awesome would that be. Then we got the dumb sniffer which does nothing except give you mildly cool PLANTS that have NO purpose except for decoration. And it doesn’t even look like it fits into the game. It’s this weird fat hairy thing with these awful colors that stick out compared to everything else in Minecraft. It doesn’t even look like a cool prehistoric mob. When we think “prehistoric” we think giant lizards like dinosaurs, or massive hairy beasts with giant tusks or fangs, not some goofy red and green lump of fur. And what does this prehistoric creature do? It digs. It lays in the floor and digs. For seeds. Not for loot. Not for treasure. For seeds.
The allay won because we thought we could give an item and it would collect more of said item, not collect dropped items. Also: > "it collects for you if you're too lazy to do it yourself" > Literally defends the mob that presses buttons as if you're too lazy to do it yourself.
@Sally Trip bruh people can make a good reason on why you should pick this thing or a good summary of a video games lore in just about 60 seconds what the hell are you talking about
Allay's lore- It's believed that the allays are souls of players because they have the same colour that Minecraft souls have. Vex's lore- according to legends evokers turns allay to vex's. Totem's lore- when the process didn't work they turn allay's into totem of undying.
based on the description of the copper golem in this video (I don't feel like actually researching this shit ) alley A the new mob sounds way more useful being able to pick up and create things while the copper golem can only press buttons
"The copper golem is better in every single way" You know that about 59% of the people don't even know how to make a complicated redstone machine, so why did you think the copper golem would win?
My opinion is that 3 of them actually very useful for other ways. The Allay can help u find smth that u might hard to find it or smth. Copper golem will help u click random button, can be a nice statue or either way. While Glare, they still useful in other way. Bcs some of mc players love collect or do smth cool with gathering the mobs. They can help the player find where mobs spawn easier. So, all of them is usuful for everyway!
Copper golem could have been a great way to make more simple redstone and then rely on the golem to push the button at certain intervals on average, great for starter farms... would be even better if you could combine them with allays to make an auto harvesting farm
@@jujjuuu5780 people thought it could dupe items... That's the only reason it won.. So to not get embarrassed that they were wrong they start defending an annoying, slow, flying Hopper minecart.
Would’ve been cool if during thunderstorms, Copper Golems could get struck with lightning, charged, and attack mobs with lightning strikes, like Channeling tridents do
Glare: - Useful for telling ppl with night vision that the place is too dark - Decoration Copper Golem: - A new Golem - Press buttons - Freeze overtime Allay: - Dances - You give them an item and they will find the same item but more and give it back to you - Lore for Vexes Meh-_-
@@gamerprovossen1197Me. I have. You salty ass fanboys might be too buthurt to admit that your useless button-pysher isn't as useful as an angel that can hold items for you, but I'm actually smart enough to make use of something.
