My great uncle was in a West Yorkshire regiment thankfully he came home. His brother, my other great uncle was in the 1st/4th east Yorkshire regiment, sadly he still lays in an Ypres field. My grandfather was at Gallipoli, thankfully, he came home too. Absolute respect and the world's allocation of gratitude for their sacrifice. I've always worn my poppy with pride. God bless and rest in peace.

My wifes great uncle Cornelius Kidger from Morley is buried there. He was 20 years old. We visited his grave a couple of years ago and were very moved by the experience.
