This vlog made me emotional, it’s really beautiful how many core memories Atticus is going to have with such one to one time with his mum. Your a really good mum Julie!
Happy Birthday Atticus! And happy vacation both of you! Thank you for sharing your life Julie, especially your trips, I'm housebound and disabled and your videos are so soothing and beautiful and open the world for me
Hi Julie, I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you. I suffer badly with anxiety and OCD and other mental health problems and being alone with my thoughts is a very terrifying thing. When I need company or to feel less anxious I watch your videos and they can make make feel calmer and less alone and I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you❤❤
Lovely vlog Julie and Atticus. Happy belated Birthday Atticus, so nice spending a lovely week with your mum in Cornwall. Please people, if you can't say something nice and support a mum doing her best, then just say nothing or dont watch. There is enough hate and bad going on in the world. Please just be kind xxx

Atticus is very lucky to do all he does. My kids spent the Easter hols at home I can’t afford trips away they are just too much. My youngest is 10 he would love this. Very relaxing vlog thanks
I know how you feel- I’m stuck working full time during a lot of the holidays. My twins (11) went to their dad’s and were there for about 12 days of the Easter holidays altogether. We have been to Cornwall once nearly five years ago but honestly it’s such a long journey we’ve said we’ll not go again 😂 we live in Nottingham. We’re fortunate in that we (myself and my husband- I’m remarried now) own a small touring caravan so we’ve booked a campsite in north wales in May half term and will no doubt just head to a cheap campsite in the summer holidays but we go to ones with little to no facilities and just use the shower etc in the caravan! We have booked a small festival during the summer and a tiny cottage in the Lake District for October half term but we’re not able to do anywhere near as much as many others do. We’ve not been abroad as a family and this summer we need to sort out two lots of secondary school uniform which will be expensive to say the least! Luckily my twins say they’re not bothered about holidays abroad. They’ve been once or twice with their dad and have been to Scotland a couple of times with him and his wife too but they’re not bothered really about missing out on the expensive hols their friends have
@@lucydawson1344 they are lucky their dad is a dad and takes them away. My kids dad has disowned them doesn’t want to know and I don’t even have a phone number. Three kids age 10 12 And 19 so I’ve two secondary uniforms to get this summer too and don’t get a penny child maintenance and I’m on my own. It’s a struggle. Your kids are lucky at least they get time away from home mine were going insane stuck in. Everyone’s lives are so different it’s mad
Loved this vlog, looks like a a great trip, makes me want to jump in the car and go there myself! Atticus is a lovely lad. Looking forward to the next vlog...a lovely escape from busy everyday life, music very relaxing too! ❤
Thank you Julie for taking us along on your Cornwall vlogs. I have never been to Cornwall but would love to visit there, looks very pretty even better with the sunshine.🌞🏖
The colour of the sea! The light in Cornwall is different to anywhere else in the uk; beautiful. I’ve visited St Ives in the summer holidays, it looks so much more peaceful at this time of year.. Lovely vlog, thank you 💕
I’m not a confident driver at all unfortunately but I think it’s lovely how you get to see the country with your family. I find your videos very soothing
Great vlog Thank you. Land’s End is a special place, we were in South Carolina on April 9th. Happy 10th Birthday master A! My son turns 10 in June. Loved how the lady behind you towards the end of the vlog smiled at you before she crossed the road, well, smiled at your camera. ❤
Happy birthday Atticus never seen your channel before enjoyed it you brought back so many memories for me thank you i used to go there when mine were all little haven't been for thirty three years ❤❤ from Julie
I live about 15 miles from St Ives, it is such a busy place in the summer. But still very beautiful any time of the year. Hope you had a lovely time here ❤
Lovely little vlog! If you ever find yourself driving down to Cornwall or Devon again, stop by The Box museum and art gallery in Plymouth! It’s completely free entry, no need to book and so so good for kids and families. I feel like Atticus would love it and there’s something for everyone. Just a cheeky plug as I do work there, but I seriously do recommend the place if you ever had a little time to spare. I’d definitely come and say hi if I spotted you guys! X
I'm so happy Atticus said it's his favourite seaside town 🥰 I knew he'd love it! I'll have to give you an apartment recommendation it over looks porthmeor beach and it's got parking. The views are incredible. If you look on Aspect holidays and search St Ives or Cornwall in general there's so many places to choose from. I'll have a look to remember the name, cause I have a feeling you'd want to return again at some point. And yes the seagulls are loud but it always reminds me of St Ives whenever I hear seagulls 😆😆😆 x

Me 50's and work colleague 18 had a full shift conversation about your family as we watch you both as you cover the generations. It was a lovely conversation how i can relate to you and colleague to anastasia. It really was warming discussion xx
Have a lovely time. Newquay itself is a dump so wouldn’t recommend going there EXCEPT for the beaches in Newquay, the beaches are lovely & the sunsets are absolutely stunning on a clear night! Literally stunning! But yeah Newquay itself, a dump lol
I'm super lucky that my mums whole family live in Cornwall. I'm almost 40 and me and my family have been visiting since I was born! I have 2 boys now and a husband and I get to bring them to the same beaches I played on for hours with my siblings, when we was their age. Beautiful part of the country, St Ive's is my favourite place😊
Shame it's too late. But if you went to the co-op round the corner, a bus pulls up often and it's about £1-1.50 each and it takes you up to the top car park at the gym
You came into my town taunton you need to visit hestercombe Gardens and hope you have a had lovely time in Cornwall by the way did kind of scremed when you said taunton 😂🙈
The to the St Ives riddle is 1 and you why as I explain it you atticus and Julia. As I was going to ST IVES I MET a man with seven wives that being said i only met them when ONLY I was going to st ives they never came with to st ives because I WAS THE ONLY PERSON THAT MET THEM ON MY WAY TO ST IVES. 1] i hope i have explained the best way i knew how if i missed out words it because a im not good at explaining things or telling things over and 2) I'm dyslexic
I love the vlogs but I hate when Atticus just speaks over Julie when she’s explaining something. It’s really off putting and makes me want to stop watching.
