Take two onions, cut into two halves.. Keep the tail part (wet surface) at your brother feet and cover with a socks so that it won't move. Repeat to other leg. Keep it for 3-4 hours. Needed try next day

Keep giving fever medicine but if fever has been there for more than 3 days, go for blood investigations to find out the cause for fever and treat accordingly.

Only the degree of temperature matters. If it's above 104, sponging is recommended in the same manner as told.

sponging not needed at 100 degree temperature. High fever in newborn can be serious, so it needs urgent emergency care in a hospital, home sponging can waste time.

Same. Either don’t remove all the clothes or cover the child in a blanket. only expose and sponge one body area at a time, wipe it off and then proceed on to next area

Sponging is done in high fever cases. And in infants (0-1 year age group), any fever above 101 is an emergency! So instead of wasting time in doing sponging, the baby must be taken to emergency room of the nearest hospital.

During this season, paracetamol is the only safest medicine for fever. In any illness, fever can come and go frequently for first 2-3 days. Paracetamol is to be given as and when fever recurs with a minimum gap of 4 hours.

Antibiotics are used only if doctors suspect bacterial infection or if the blood tests show evidence of bacterial infection. For rest of the infections, only symptom based medicine is needed. All kinds of home made healthy foods increase immunity.
