How sketchy this looks is what makes it funny. Just that wibe that screams "those animations are batched up together at the last minute and the songs have random voices snatched from random places and brought together into that random mess in the last minute. Thats the pure soul of OG ministry of joy content. It is actually a similar vibe to those liminal space/weirdcore kind of stuff where it feels familiar enough for you to feel nostalgic about it, than it starts to get uncanny amd hilarious at the same time. There was only soo much time before it became "popular" and then it kinda died..
When I walked into the Smiler, I was flipping pissing myself, not gonna lie, but once you get on the ride, it’s so flipping good like Jesus. Just because it’s crashed before.. it doesn’t mean that it not going to crash again. It is probably once of the best and safest rides at Alton Towers. Please do not worry about crashing or hurting yourself, as it will *NOT* and I repeat *WILL NOT* happen. It was a 1 in a lifetime crash, and there is around a 1 in 750 MILLION percent chance of dying on a rollercoaster, so never worry :)
The thing that was actually so scary for me was how the park dealt with it. All the staff there were so shocked that no one called the ambulance for an hour. And even when someone did, it wasn't any staff there, not even the manager, it was someone who had witnessed the scene. One of the park guests. I'm sure after that happened though, everyone is so extremely safe! Alton Towers is now by far the safest park in the UK after the incident.
@@charlieamiright I should be doing a charity event on the smiler and oblivian, so I shall have to join you in doing that and say that I didn’t get corrected. So technically, I will be part of the ride for a while and I will say that I haven’t been corrected and that the ministry is helping us get corrected. 🤪🤪@_@

I really wish I could go to Alton towers but it’s a three and a half hour drive away from me and even though I’ve never been on The Smiler I still belong to it 😀

I love the idea of a multi dimension coaster, but my only concern is the budget for project horizon is about £12.5m and I can imagine studio tour cost a lot more than that

Well it is part of the X-Sector (get those dirty thoughts out of your head NOW) which is supposed to be some kind of sinister government facility. The smiler twists your mind and after you have been corrected you will smile no matter how depressed you are and you will "smile always" when ever the ministry of joy tells you to. Oblivion, another ride in the X-Sector is themed as experimental equipment designed to push people to their physical and mental limits
