This is how I got fascinated with anything Irish... the music, the accent, And how THE CORRS made it all look and sound like it's fun to be Irish. I'm Asian by the way.
Everybody might be allowed their opinion, but in MY opinion, they are my absolute favorite group--regardless of whether it's celtic or any other type. I love these girls(and guy) and always have!
I just love to see how they can use classical Irish/Celtic instruments in to a pop"song" and how they just are able to set classic Irish/Celtic songs into a modern coat! Or how they are able to turn Pop songs from other artists into their own setting!
Oh my gosh ! My favorite band of all time ! My mother was black Irish with the dark hair, fair skin. She had one green eye & one brown eye. My mothers father was adopted but my moms mother was Irish decent with red hair. I took after my mum. I naturally did have the dark hair and fair skin but I have green eyes. 2:15 I love your music! It’s not just amazing but it brings up an entire Irish heritage near & far. X
The way Andrea play with tin whistle, and the way she move around in a fun-flirtious way and sometimes in barefeet, and looking around with her sultry eyes even straight down into the camera man, flirting with audience, that what get me everytime. Without fail. This is why she will always be my favourite, however Sharon and Caroline are just as good and sexy. Extremely talented. Forever the Corrs fan from DownUnda.
About the Haste to Wedding song. Just would like to meet them. I was going to get married a long time ago and I practiced dancing with him to this song...he stranded me at the altar...suffice to say that we did not get married, but I still always have loved The Corrs, and always share their wonderful music with everyone I meet. Thank you Corrs for keeping a smile on my face every day!
Wow best drummer in Ireland I love Caroline on the bodhran don't think anyone else can play it just like her love the way she's going up and down that drum I play whistle and bodhran but she just takes bodhran playing to a different level love the Kerry style I when I first got an 18 inch bodhran I cudnt find one you tube video to play Kerry style so I'd to learn myself I wudnt give up until I did lol I'd two teachers trial and error most off the time it was error lol but I got there in the end was sheer determination you get out off an instrument what u put into it best 3 tips practice practice practice practice lol I cud listen to Caroline doing an 9 hour Solo on that drum truly talented musicians wish they'd done more jigs and reels great stuff and two guys with the guitars there great musicians but never seen to get mention well done to them two lads sticking with it for years but i understand corrs being called Corrs because the started out alone but altogether great band one off the best
Naturally if your a purist you're going to have big trouble with this music. At times as in this case the blend of Celtic and pop works like a charm. This is joyous music highlighting the best of Irish. The Corrs often came off better live than on their albums mostly due to the plague of these musical times, over-producing. But even on the albums there were many great moments in spite of the often wretchedly commercial arrangements.
2019, its my first night watching your band, all I can say is WOW!!!! do you play in USA ????? I would LOVE to see you play in person...You have a new fan. For 2019. Is anyone else listening in 2019
