I am in the same position as all of you. So these are your choices for replacing missing teeth. Either you get some teeth pulled and the dentist attaches crown to the tooth. Holding the bridge which is probably about $2.000. Or you do what I did have the bad teeth pulled. Get dentures these are the only options. These things are never going to be affordable. It involves surgery for placement sometimes more then one surgery. They have to drill into the bone where you are missing tooth. Without dental insurance you won't be able to see the dentist. On regular basis food can get caught underneath the implant. Which causes infection in the bone surgery would be needed. Because bone infection is life threatening. I am getting my teeth pulled at low income dental clinic. Order some veneers online for $40. That are going to be temporary dentures. For probably at least year maybe longer. When you are poor use the limited resources you have. Get the help you need so you can be happy and smile. That is exactly what I am going to do and I am very excited. Im sorry, but this should be covered under standard health insurance. Oral issues can cause infections, and can even kill you... They affect your ability to eat, drink, live a normal life, and is one of the most common issues people can face. This is highway robbery, and dentists charging this much should be ashamed of themselves. It should be mandatory that there is programs to help people that can't afford this work. Absolutely RIDICULOUS pricing! So much for the hypocratic oath.
Oh the state and government know and see this crazy mess as well. I’ve been to plenty dental offices to see if they accept debit-cal / denticare (dental insurance through the government/ medi-cal ) and they all say they don’t take it and that they used to take it but not anymore and they’re the dentist pushing quality work and all the dentist that accept medi-cal /denticare /dentical are all skeptical looking and have you concerned. Even the dentist that accept it still try to get you to come out of pocket with things you don’t even need that they should be doing because it’s the fair thing to do for another human and their oral health and life .
Tbf even going through life threatening disease treatment costs so much money. Depending on how much insurance covers but if you don’t have insurance treatments can be 10s of thousands of dollars maybe even in the three digits. Life’s not fair I need a lot of dental work done and I feel depressed knowing I can’t afford implants and probably won’t for a few years.
@@CodeE-ny3kmHi! I had experience with toothache. Just a suggestion rinse your mouth with warm salt or use mouth wash with no alcohol like Crest mouth wash. Pain killer. Ask the dentist to give a filling if they can save it or tell them to pull your teeth out if they can't. The raise does work and the pain killers
Check your local dental schools! Implants were only 1000 at the local dental school. Maybe worth checking out for those on a budget! It takes 3x as long as normal but the work is usually double checked by a teacher.

You can get 3 or 4 done in Egypt for about 1500 US. Dental is a ripoff. If only we had listened and acted upon the nutritional and dental instructions given us by our parents and dentist in our youth.
Agree but unless everyone in this country. Wants socialized medical and dental care. I am one of the few people that think this is what is needed nothing will change. So in the meantime I am going to go with DYI denture.

I can help you. My husband and I have major dental problems. So we Googled low income dental clinics. The town we live in. They charge based on income to pull the bad teeth. The problem is dentures are expensive. He has dementia so I started looking online. At foods we could eat with no teeth. Things, like meatloaf and meat in slower cooker. Are fine you can eat pasta, and yogurt. Hamburger Helper and oatmeal. Scrambled eggs and yogurt. Pudding and beef stew. Fried rice is fine too. Cottage cheese and mashed potatoes. I got some nutrition drinks from the dollar store. That will help you gain weight.
How much is a a tooth, just 1 tooth replacement or implant in the UK? like I want to put in 1 tooth, how much ?? I would ask google but I think our googles even work different depending where you are now. Not all things of the country you aren't in shows. What is happening in our world??
expensive that's how they are all the way till they get infected or wear down from implants posts abutments or all on four not to mention yearly cleaning or adjustment and post treatment etc only have manufactured 20 year warranty but not a 20 year warranty inside your mouth and the upper and lowers wear down after 5-7 years where some people I know have had normal dentures for over 25 years like my mum ,idk anyone that's had implants that haven't caused them tremendous pain discomfort a shitload of money $50.000.00 and one guy I knew he's implants only lasted a few years the crown on the implant kept on breaking in the end he paid all this money only to have it removed then eventually got dentures now no pain at all and way cheaper, implants do not cost $12-$18 for snap on and excess of $45.000.00 for all on four or all on six my sister used to be a dental technician in lab and delivery and they do not cost no where near the price they are asking dentist make a lot of money and they will not help you unless you can pay it off in 6 months only other options is to get finance for something that isn't even guaranteed to last ,or even for you 2 be a good candidate and if you smoke you must quit for atleast 2-4 months so they don't get infected etc but a dentist will always make things sound so great because at end of day it's a product and there a business man and want to make as much money off you ass possible they simply don't care about people individually or what a person goes through having broken missing teeth. so make it more affordable charge proper prices and understand people don't have that sort of money just lying around even insurance companies cover Jack shit you know it I know it so bloody help people nothing worse than being in pain or embarrassed to even leave the house let alone work eat talk and communicate with people...
you're paying for a luxury that requires a lot of time, skills and qualifications, and it's not just a replacement tooth, it saves that part of your jaw from degrading

Dentist are criminals if you ask me that “tube” of dentist paste can what repair 200 teeth? And it costs $300 I got one tooth pulled and it cost me $550 in Canada you could probably pay for everything in your dentist office in half a days work the guy took what 3 minutes to pull my tooth? So poor families have to go through absolute torture for months or years maybe their entire life because they can’t afford to fix their teeth! That’s $500 for a tooth pulled no teeth filling paste used, but a tooth can cost up to $2,000 to $5,000 to get fixed if you need a root canal. It should be under medical insurance. Not a different insurance called dental insurance.

This is even hard to talk about. I’ve been watching you so I had gastric bypass and I became very very malnourished and all my teeth came out and it’s been very embarrassing but I can’t afford anyway and I’ve been walking around with fake teeth that I made myself which don’t work, it’s been a rough year with my mom’s passing and I don’t know if you ever guys do do just help a person it’s really hard for me to even ask but yeah I’m embarrass it raining. You guys do a great job.
Honey you can get veneers online that would work better for you as denture. That are $40 or online dentures are $400. For full set top and bottom. You are a lot better off to go with something you can afford. So you can smile and eat. For now $40 veneers are going to be my denture for more then year. Getting your teeth pulled is critical Google. Low income dental care the town you live in. They can pull all your bad teeth. They charge based on your income. There should be some near you to call. Thank you!! Finally a dentist that’s being truthful about the price of dental implant, you always see two to $3000/per and that’s just not true I got nine dental implants this past year for an implant supported denture and all in $26,000 later I have teeth that don’t fall out!!
This is why most people have broken and missing teeth. This is just so messed up. It shouldn't cost 6K to get a tooth. SHAME on anyone who would charge that..
Get them pulled at low income dental clinic. That's what I am doing and get dentures. Google low income dental care. The town you live in. There should be dental clinics near you to call. The cost for treatment is based on income. They don't do implants or dentures. But they do have affordable options online. I paid $40 for what will become my top and bottom denture.

Did you look online to see if you could get partial made that fits better and one that looks better. Places like Etsy probably are good place too look. If these people can't help you. I want you to be able to smile and be happy.
find a great dentist in your area. Look for referral - don't trust anything you see in google searches. Go strictly off of testimonials. If a dentist has at least a 4.8 and over 100 reviews - go to him/her. Thats what i did and i am so happy. If anyone needs a great implant dentist in Chicago Area and ready to pay for quality work than Chicago Dental Arts is the answer.
