Can i suggest you buy beverage and milk in sachets ,( roll) that way each person can have like 2 sachets of each,i have been doing it,it works for my family..May God continue to provide for us all

Judith leave this market and head to Idumota market if you can, promise you that the 2 or 3k you would save on each buy would be worth it, since you do bulk shopping every month end.

Even in Delta prices are cheaper than what you got in shopm Avoid that shop and mkt. That quacker oats is 1,600 and since you buy much just buy 1/2 carton of it

Am a South African 🇿🇦 woman getting married to a Yoroba man and been doing my best to learn what Nigeria is like. Hopefully I will be visiting soon. This whole market shopping is a culture shock for me. We don’t have markets in SA and we buy everything from supermarkets 😢. I find it soooo funny that you have to ask how much for each and every item and everything is up for negotiation😂. That is soooooo weird but wonderful. Here nothing is up for negotiation, the price is final and you take it or you leave it.

Hey, congrats on your union!! Just as an aside, we also have supermarkets of all different sizes but many ppl prefer the markets because you can haggle and negotiate, sometimes you might be able to find specific things in the way you want, you can discounts if you build relationships etc. but it’s definitely not for everybody 😂 many people hire personal shoppers or go to the supermarket for these reasons. So we have the best of both worlds. Hope this helps and once again congrats!!

Please check another shop next time to see the price difference because they know you always come and buy a lot instead of them to reduce price they rather add price that is how they do🥹

Nice market vlog. It brings back so much memories when I was back in Nigeria. May I suggest you prepare your mind and just go to the island like mile 12 or ilepo and buy a basket of tomatoes, pepper, yams, sweet potatoes and onions . The mallams in your vlog are actually reaping you with the cost of the paint of tomatoes.

Thanks a lot. It brings back memories for me too when my mom use to go to the market. I can’t buy big baskets because my freezer isn’t big enough to accommodate it even tho I blend and freeze. I’m still in search for a freezer that’s higher than my current one length wise and same width as mine. Will keep searching tho but till then, it’s buckets 😩

@@judithurevbu. Please go for haier thermocool. I only go to mile 12 once a year because I buy in baskets. I blend half of the tomatoes when i get got and the other half i store them in my freezer. God will help us oo.

@@judithurevbu.I don’t no if you’re up for it but look into water bath preservation for your tomato/Pepe mix it’s requires a few supplies but it might be a good choice if you have plenty pantry space

Judith,I love your videos but please don't go to this Provision shop again,with all the money you spend they don't treat you like a customer. Today I walked away from my tomatoes seller of more than 3years,yes things are costly but treat your loyal customers well.

Omg!!!! 😩 I think I have an attachment problem, when someone does my hair, or I purchase a particular item from them, I don’t like to change them. I can stick with them for years but you’re right, it’s time to let go and move on 😞😞

Great Vlog as always Judith. From my little research, they say Milo is suitable for children 4 years and older, and is not suitable for young kids less than 2 years. But please also do your checks.

There is a branded palm oil, not sure of the name I think it's Banga oil or something, I mostly see in grocery stores though

Things are expensive in the country right now but you see island prices? OMG!!! Viva detergent is 1k in Mushin, sweet corn big size is 800, Indomie is 7k

They know that not everyone would want to go through the stress of going long distances to get what they want, when they can get it in their location, especially considering Lagos traffic. So they put the price of the transport you will spend going to mushin in the products that you will buy. Also, these marketers transport their goods to the island, they will also add that transport value to the products they will sell. So if you look at it well, the difference might not be all that much.

Honestly for these non dairy milks just make them at home, you just need raw almonds which can last a while and blend with water, personally I add dates to sweeten that way I can control how much to make so it doesn’t waste

I love this! I’ve actually made almond and cashew milk in the past but they are expensive to purchase raw . The quantity is usually small so it almost equates to buying powdered one 😫

New subscriber😊) My opinion is to not settle for one store, yes it’s hard walking around in the sun but buyig everything from one store while speaking island English like I noticed you were, screams money bag. Try and compare prices in the market also. But this are my opinions Love your vlogs❤

This market is expensive oh,Wuse Market is not as expensive as this.I still bought caprison 8700, two weeks ago and it was not up to this before. A carton of 6 pieces of Peak milk 800g-37,000.God help us in this country.❤

Hmmm. God help us in this country. I bought that size of Viva detergent today for 1500 at same Jakande market. Surprised she sold for 1800 as at when you went there. Her prices are quite outrageous sha. You frequent there and they still sell as they wish, that’s bad.

Why everything so expensive?? 😮 What is the average salaries in Nigeria. The amount of of groceries you bought should not exceed 5 thousand Indian rupees
