The Cost of Following Jesus 

In Matthew 16, Jesus asks his disciples the most important question in a believer’s life: “Who do you say that I am?” Afshin Ziafat explains that a follower of Christ will not settle for mere mental assent, because ultimately, the call on a believer’s life is much deeper than knowledge. The call of Christ on our lives is to follow him-to act upon our belief- not to be perfect, but to follow our perfect Savior who suffered and died in our place so that we will one day share in his glory.
