The Cost of Juicing - Home vs. Store Comparison by Jordan Taylor. Jordan buys a juice at the local shop and then buys produce using the same dollar amount. He uses the PURE Juicer to find out just how much juice he can get when he does this on his own. For more about PURE Juicer, visit bit.ly/39MXs1vP...

Please note, we are in full support of all juicing and local juice establishments. We are pro juicing. But this is a fun way to see just how productive our juicer is and how easy it is to juice for health.

You have to include the price of the cold press until it pays off itself...

aight. as well as the time to buy the veggies / fruit + the time processing them + the time and energy for cleaning. But still, I think homemade is better. You have more control about what goes in your juice. And you can choose organic products, which I would recommend. Stay tuned!

The juicer is $2495 assuming he replaces the juice everyday he saves $7.36 meaning it takes 339 to pay down. There’s also finance. After one year if he invested the difference into an instrument that returns 12% apy. With compounding interest he’ll have $390,868 at todays numbers in 25 years. Obviously the price will go up at the store faster than at home so in reality could be a much bigger saving if he tracks and invests the difference.

This man is addicted to whatever “juice” is. This man consciously spends/spent 2,000 dollars a year on “juice”. he talks like he *has to have his juice* like how someone would talk about needing cigarettes.

terrible science. your pure juicer costs 2100$ rounded up and not accounting for taxes and shipping. that's a lot of juice you gotta make in order for it to pay itself. almost as bad as buying an overpriced hybrid to save gas money.
@Purejuicer
@Purejuicer 4 года назад
Many of our customers make between 8-13 8oz glass of juice per day. At this rate of consumption, the juicer pays for itself in about 1 year. That's good economics.

I use mine most every day, yeah. So it’s a great investment personally.

So ummm yeah juice is expensive when it’s made by someone else. This machine will pay for itself in a very short while but I digress.

Was all your produce organic?

Now do a cost analysis with pineapples and limes…. I’ll wait. While you are at it, let’s see the yield of the machine with ginger and turmeric with cost included. I guess PURE wants to market to people by acting like juice companies are gouging customers. Couldn’t be further from the truth. Also, I guess a person’s time has no value. Prep, shopping, gas, cleanup… I guess PURE doesn’t care about those basic things to include in the cost. In fact, you can’t even make money on juice anymore as a business in middle America unless you use heavy carrots and beets. Produce costs have gone up so much . California oranges. $.21 per pound organic Nashville oranges $.90 per pound conventional. That’s right, California grows 85% of the us organic produce . This video should give a cost breakdown for parts of the US. Drastically different. Actually, this video should be deleted. Thanks

Hi Tanner, We do already know all the yields, your mileage may vary. The PURE's overall average yield is 67%, so 1000g produce on average makes 670ml. Pineapple, 77% Lime, 52% Ginger, 79% Turmeric, 82% Were selling what a glass of juice cost based on the raw ingredients. Juice bars have their place in the market too. Not everybody wants to me making juice.

@@Purejuicer your video is misleading. That’s all I’m saying. Produce has different costs in different parts of the country. You used the cheapest ingredient per pound by far. as you add more expensive produce per pound, and the gas you spend , the savings starts to vanish . Don’t forget the costs of your replacement bags, which you conveniently left out. It was a bad video, sorry.
@Purejuicer
@Purejuicer 2 года назад
@@Stickyweekend OK. This is made to show that you are getting 30-50% more juice than other juicers, so regardless of how much the produce costs, you are getting that much more juice for each thing you buy. And the bags can be used hundreds of times. We respect your opinion either way, and it's always worth sharing our saying, which is, "The best juicer is the one you use!"

And what about those of us who grow our own produce? Lol it’s all relative and a great video.
