This song should have been on the radio. Great tune, and enjoy the flashback film segments. Glad we can still see Bob, Paul, and Susan on the Happy Together Tours. Wish they would play this one.

Really is a great song. I watched the documentary years ago and was very moved by it, then this song played over the closing credits and it was such a perfect, optimistic capstone to the movie.

What kid alive then didn't love The Cowsills? I still have my Captain Sad and his Shi of Fools album. Bought it with my paper route money. It set me back $3.25. Played their songs for my daughter when she was 5-8. Loves them to this day.

I think they wrote this as more of a memory for them but it does offer a perspective for me as I remember what things were like for me in 1990 and what they were like in 1969. In 21 years their life sure changed and they probably were thinking of what life could have been had their dad not been an abusive alcoholic. This is a 32 year look back of a song looking back 21 years.

I like their music. A good sound. It reminds me when I was back in high school. Good times with friends.

I sincerely hope they did have some good years. Because they deserved it. I have always felt emotionally connected to them for some reason. Susan is so nice and I consider her a friend. This family is different. Kindness and caring for each other and other people is what I see along with their music. They are very special to me.

Great song. Love it. I wish we could take the clock back to get rid of the alcoholic father who ruined a great group with one swift punch. He ruined the group as fast as they gained popularity. I knew it wasnt them not being talented that one day topping the charts a few years later Bill disapeared thanks to his father kicking him out of the band and out of the family. Bill wanted to write songs in another direction not so bubble gummy. The old man said no and the group went down hill. R.I.P. Billy and Barry you are both loved and missed. 🙏🏻 ❤
