This band changed my life in the 90s. It made my life bearable, so much I waited for them to come to my hometown in 2012. I went to both concerts: the first one in row 7, the second one in first row!!! I almost died!! It was one of the happiest moments of my life. Thanks Dolores...I ❤️U!!!

Some of my friends whose parents were really into church Wednesday nights, Sunday mornings & again Sunday nights thought I was such a bad influence on my friends, which I was actually very well behaved, just more into the grunge, alternative scene way before "emo" was even a word, LOL 😂 Or jeans with black hightop Converses & skater shirts! There was no social media or technology, it was all about what you wore & what music you loved & passing notes. The 90's were a great era for music & fashion depending on who you listened to. Cranberries,99 Metallica, Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Mazzy Star, Bush, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Courtney Love, and my all time favorite movie and still is... Dazed & Confused!!! I still watch that movie at least a few times a year, never gets old! Thanks for sharing your memories with me & letting me share mine with you. Good times. In 2019 I spent a couple days in Kilkenny. My fellow travelers and I went to a local pub, and the hometown band played this song. We were encouraged to sing along. though we were Americans among native Irish. I felt so welcomed there as we sang this together, and I knew the locals understood the words more intimately than we did. And now in 2022, I feel a different solidarity and a sadness across the ocean. May we live long enough to break our chains and embrace.

Wow is she dead??? As a teenager I used to listened to her magical voice and songs in radio knowing very little of her and her groupe. And here in U tube era I accidenly came action her beautiful songs and her death!! I am shocked. I am from south asia and thank you for your great music. May you attain nirvana in your next life and never meet such a tragic death again in samsara!
