BECOME A PATRON TO GET SONGS/TABS: www.patreon.com/coversolutions Simple line, really good for working on consistency and string skipping, specially from C to G (3 A string to 3 E string). I'm using a barre tipe of left hand fingering so i don't have to jump from one string to another and use just one finger, placing the joint of the finger for C and the tip for G. I encourage you to try to apply this technique. It will be useful for better control of your hand position. Song is in E Minor (Relative to G). The same progression is repeated throughout the whole song. The parenthesis anotations correspond to other tensions that i heard, which are created by open strings on the guitar (mostly E and B): E Minor Natural (Relative to G Major) (F#) *I Em (E G B)* II F#dim (F# A C) *III G (G B D) or G6 (G B D E) (extended harmony, added 6th)* IV Am (A C E) V Bm (B D F#) *VI C (C E G) or Cmaj7 (C E G B) (extended harmony)* *VII D (D F# A) or D6/9 (D F# A B E) (extended harmony, for this case with the bass on F#, first inversion)*

I want to thank you so much you have no idea how of a lifesaver this is I recently joined the band club at my school only to quickly realize that I was basically useless. The club already having a much better singer than me. Instead of feeling like useless the entire two hours, I decided it was time to make a change and so, I began to learn the bass. I’ve been practicing for almost 2 weeks now and this is the first song I can play all the way through so finally, I am able to not be so useless

Thank you for this cover. The small variations with the sixteenth notes : I don't hear them all in the original song. It sounds good in your cover but it's difficult to remember when they should be played in place of eighths... OK in the last part it's easy but for the rest of the song, I just tplay sixteenth when I feel it :-)

I’ve recently started playing ukulele, and I’ve starting to become good. I’ve noticed you can play it on ukulele, because of different chords that are different to the bass/guitar. The strings on my instrument is G C E A. Great video!

I don't even play/own a bass (alas, my hands are so tiny) - even tho it has always been my favourite musical instrument - but my boyfriend just bought one and I tried to play this song and I succeded in no time. It's so simple but so beautiful and effective! I'm sorry that many people think that a bass line has to be virtuous to be cool. I mean, this one is quite cool imho. Thank you for all of your videos! I love learning to play this one which is one of my favorites! Maybe if I get it down then try to sing it too, my bf can learn the guitar part and add it to our playlist. He wishes I could sing more in some of our music. It's tough trying to sing and be concentrating on playing at the same time. 😂
