@@MeenaElise tell her she’s amazing!! This is coming from a professional percussionist of 12 years. Her sense of rhythm is amazing and she was able to capture the feel of the song perfectly!
@@camrynmax6703 Oh wow! I am so grateful for you sharing that! And I definitely will tell her :) I, myself, trained classically on the piano starting at age 7 so it's always great meeting musicians who have a true love for music. She picked up the guitar about a year and a half ago and hasn't stopped playing since. I think also, the fact that she taught herself to play by ear is one of the most useful tools for musicians. She's still very young so the confidence will grow but it is so fun to watch her learn and throw me little concerts :) Thank you so much again! Do you have any videos or music I can check out? I would love to see/hear you because you must be absolutely amazing!

@@camrynmax6703 When you said you were a professional percussionist, I didn't realize you played so many different types of percussion! That was incredible - I couldn't stop watching.
@@Grasspals thank you so much! Her strumming pattern is just her interpretation of the chords that were in the song, so I’m sorry I can’t help too much there. As for the chords, she does use the capo and uses a lot of bar chords but this might help you with the general chords: tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/tab/the-crane-wives/tongues-and-teeth-chords-2899004
its on Tabs, Am, Caug, C, F#dim, F, Am/B, E7, G, E, Em, Dm. As a very beginner guitarist i gotta say im impressed with this person and the original song, like howw do you do those complicated chord switches so quick? determined to learn lol
Not so started off with a sad story, my brother fists gave her a ukulele, the next year a small string guitar and finally his guitar. He got hit by a bar shortly later She like him like a father so she was broken when he died and just kept proving him right to this day There went isn’t competitions and so used the holes she found nothing and practice er my brother r Ruth y I’ll post a couple of new ones sitting that ;)
I asked her how she learned this because it was her first or second year of playing. She plays a lot by ear and from watching my brother so she said she doesn’t remember exactly. she said initially learned by looking the songs up online to see the chords then adjusted them to her style. She also uses the capo a lot. She’ll find her comfort zone with bar chords and then switch up. You can see how she does that in Shadow Practice. I don’t know enough about it or if that helps you at all but best of luck :)
