Something about this is so nostalgic, how chill it is to grind low level mobs and still get rewarded for it, plus no your voice is quite soothing, I like this a lot
no joke, even for a brandnew player who does understand "the basics" (or remember it from 2016 when this was the normal gameplay), from my perspective (old, play for relaxation) this is a m,uch better gameplay experience than sweating/rushing through seasonal, getting everything shoved down your throat in lightning speed and never actualy learn anything about the game, themn end up Level 62 with shitty gear and no idea what to do or how to do what. This "Hardcore / Oldschool" playstyle is much more fun than just rushing/oneshotting everything. The Seasonal is really only to get people to the "open wallet!" phase faster.
The idea I think is to get people to mid/end game so that they feel as though there's a good size player base. Nobody wants to start an mmo that they feel like nobody plays. But if they rush everyone to the same area it wouldn't feel that way

When you say No "Y" rewards are you also including the daily login for the merc. scroll and loyalty? those are technically F2P things that you would normally have gotten on login but were changed long ago after they gave the option to pick combat or life
Hmh. Interesting concept would be no quest gear. Yellow-Blue quest gear is shortcut gear, that is quite overpowered. It would be interesting playtrough to going from drop gear only, like upgraded Grunil gear or whatever gear that drops from mobs/bosses rule. But maybe next time.
It's pretty much instant. +15 grunil would take less time than doing all the quests pretty sure, and that's plenty good enough to stick to until boss gear
@@SickLoot Well yea, but +15 Grunil would need repairs, which isnt that easy to do, unless you get lucky with some login reward for mem fragments(which is waste imo, since you can buy grunil from blacksmith in Altinova - amity game needed but its easier than grinding). Magical Roaring armor is equialent of Duo Grunil which would be even harder. You dont need Duo Grunil(+15 is 50dp), but it feels like 'cheating', since then you dont really have to care about armor until boss armor, that beats magical roaring armor at +15. Idk, i thought it would be more challenging than just swing trough story questlines and get everything for free in few hours.
The grunil pieces are incredibly common at sausons. So you don't need memory fragments to repair as you can use the same piece for 10 durability. Also duo isn't hard if need be but +15 is more than enough dp to get you through. All I'm saying is that the difference in time and effectiveness is basically nothing. So they are essentially the same approach
Good luck on the series bro! Although I think you should be able to collect 100 Loyalties daily as that's something as basic as we could all collect back in 2016 on release.
You can also buy some blue accuracy gear from a blacksmitch vendor (not sure if it still exists) but if it does itl give you some accuracy and ap and should get you buy killing mediah for my first character I speed ran to 56 and skipped the story quests and used blue +5 vendor weapons for a while till someone helped me figure out what the fuck i was doing 😂
I dont get why is he going to zones that are WAY to strong for him? Why not grind alot in low easy spots? just to get lvls and stuff. There is no rule about staying in zones to get some lvls. Right??
